"Now, I see why the boss wants you. You're a gem." I felt slightly disgusted at him words, Who is this boss and what does he want from me?
My kidnappers looks down at his phone again and text something. He then stands up, places the phone on the chair which he was sitting in and then made some long strides to me. He was standing right in front of me, he bends his head to my ears.
"I feel like taking you all to myself, but I know that the boss wouldn't like that, but then again the boss won't know if he's not here." He smiled cheekily at me. I felt my stomach turning over, he was going to rape me. I was going to lose my virginity to a loser, a kidnapper. I felt the tears coming down.
"Oh, don't cry, my dear." I did something before I could stop myself. I spit in his face, he was frightened at my actions. He laughed. "Oh, you've done the most stupid thing ever. I'm sorry for you now."
As his words hit home, I began to move away from his but he grabbed my hands and tug me back to him. "You think you can run away from me bitch, then you think wrong." He started to bend his head then I did another unexpected thing. I kicked him in his most sensitive spot then he fell back and held his pants in pain. I use this as a way of moving away from him but before I can reach the door he caught up to be again. "No one and I means, no one hits me and get away." He grabbed me from behind by pulling my hair. I screamed out in pain. After he had me back in his arms he lifted his hands as if he were to hit me but he never did.
The door behind us burst opened, there he was. My night and shining armour.
Alex.
He came.
He's going to save me.
Has he was in close proximity he flings a heavy punch in my kidnapper's face which had him dropping back, falling, hitting his head on the sofa, passing out.
Before I could register anything, Alex swept me up in bridal style bring me out of this ratchet apartment. We were going up a stairs instead of down but I didn't pay too much attention that. I continue crying and bury his head in my shoulders. My hero.
After a couple of minutes, he rested me down on what it seemed like a chair.
"Hey, baby. It's alright. It's okay. You're safe with me now, okay? No one will ever hurt you as long as you have me and you'll always have me, okay." He assured I found myself nodding unable to speak. I was still having a break down at the past event. I could have died if he hadn't saved me. Oh, he was not only the love of my life but also my life, my batman.
"I'm here, I promise I'll never leave you. I'll always protect you. I love Kalliyah. You are my heart. Without you I'll die, so promise me as you did before. Promise me you'll never leave me no matter what happens." I look in his eyes and say his pleading.
"I promise," I said between a small sob.
"I love you, Kalliyah, with every fibre of my being." He told me for the hundredth time and this time I return his love.
"I love you too Alex and I promise, I'll never leave you."
Alex's POV
My heart starts beating fast at her declaration. I swallowed and looked at her. "Are you sure?"
"Never been more sure in my entire life." I smiled and wrapped my arms around her. " I thought I was going to die. I thought I wouldn't see you and the others again, especially you. I'm so glad that you are here with me. Please don't leave me." she started to cry again.
"The only way I'll leave you is if you told me to go," I said consoling her.
"Never." She said then start crying again. I held her close to me and let her cry. I tighten my grip around her. Knowing that I'm the reason why she's crying.
Oh lord help me, maybe I made a mistake.
I held her close until she stopped sniffing and moved away from my arms.
"Why are you in a tuxedo?" she asked with her brows raised. I knew this moment would come.
I tried to smile at her releasing her completely from me. "Surprise!"
She looked at me silently, "What?"
"Surprise!" I repeated.
She looked at me silently as if she was contemplating something, she looked down at her clothes. When she lifted her head she was angry.
"You plan this! You made me think I was going to die, you did this, why?" she angrily got from the chair and I got up after her. She moved away. "You know what was going through my mind when that man took me. I felt like I was going to die, hell I thought I going to die and now it's a complete joke." I could see how angry she was, her grey eyes were now darker with fiery, maybe my plan was not such a smart one.
I looked her, "I know, I'm sorry but I didn't mean to scare you that much, I just wanted to show you that I'd go to the ends of the earth if that meant that I can save you. I just wanted you to see that I'll always be there to protect you, to care for you. I just wanted you to see how much I love you. I'm sorry." I sigh. I walked over to the chair and sit down. I placed my head in my hands with my head held low. My surprise was an epic fail, of course, I should have known that Kally wasn't and the type to play games. I instantly remember the day on the beach.
