Was she paying him to act?

Because if she was they were both failing.

I laughed at the 'couple', "Henrique is not your son."

Santiago nodded his head, "No he's not my son, biologically but I plan on adopting him you."

I looked at him with raised eyebrows, "Is that so?"

Exactly how smitten was this man?

Santiago nod, "Ally had an affair with your father about a year and a half ago. She got pregnant with Henrique. After a couple of months of taking care of him, she decided to give him up. She thought she couldn't take care of him and wouldn't be a good mother. So she left him here for you to take care of him as his brother. She then moved to Florida to start a new life, to start over. That's where we met. I'm her next-door neighbour. We fell in love and now I'm here so we can get back our son. Ally is sorry for giving him up. She's also very sorry for sleeping with your father. She has changed. She's ready to be a mother, with my help of course."

I looked at them amused. They really planned this out, didn't they?

"So why would you want to move to Florida to start over. This time, let the lady talk, I'm certain she's not dumb."

Santiago snorted but looked to Alliyah/Kalliyah, "Tell him, it's okay."

"I always hurt people especially my twin sister. She hates me." She bent her head.

"Why?" I incurred. If they want to play this game then why not play it with them?

"I slept with her fiancée, his father as well."

I frowned. Just the thought of having someone I care about sleeping with my father erks me but then again, she slept with him too and I still fell for her. I just too dumb to actually see through her lies.

Now her she is again, lying to my face.

"Esta bien," Santiago said softly resting his hand on her shoulders. He lifted his head and looked at me, "She's very sorry for the wrongs that she's committed."

"So, you have a twin sister?" I said playing along.

"Yes, I do."

I nod, "So, what's her name?"

"Her name is Kalliyah."

"Oh, okay. When was the last time you saw your sister?" I asked. I'm really beginning to think that they think I'm this stupid.

"Three years ago. I haven't seen her since the day before her wedding. Well, she never got married. She ran away, I haven't seen or heard from her since. Neither has our parents, she disappeared."

I shook my head and laugh, "Okay, so you really expected me to believe you have a sister?"

"She does," her fiancée butt in.

"Okay, fine. Let me see pictures of you two." Kalliyah never had any proof that they were two of them, just documents stating that he name was Kalliyah but documents can be forged.

"I don't have any pictures of us together," she said causing me to roll my eyes. Of course, she didn't! She doesn't have any pictures because she wasn't a twin.

An imposter is what she is. I can't believe I fell for her.

I was going tell her to get the hell out but Santiago spoke first, "Wait, why don't you show him the two pictures that you always carry in your purse."

"Oh," her face lit up. "I forgot about those." She lifted up her Hermes bag and took out a purse out of it, MK. I watched her with a frown on my face, the Kalliyah I knew couldn't afford Kate Spade much less, Hermes and MK. Where did she get the money from. I looked across at her supposed fiance. By the clean cut of his suit, I could tell it was tailor-made. He was also wearing the most recent Rolex watch. He was wealthy.

Her plan worked.

She found a wealthy man to scam.

She cleared her throat then took out the two pictures and reached out to give them to me. I grabbed them from her hands not wanting to touch her.

I looked down at the first picture, nothing interesting that would identify two persons differently. It was just a picture of two redhead babies. That could be anybody. You could probably find a picture like this on Google or Pinterest.

I placed the first photo down then looked down at the next one.

I swallowed as I stared down at the photo, confusion and a hundred other emotions going through me. The picture showed two teen girls in their graduation uniform. One of the girls had straight hair, she was smiling with tums up and the next one had curly hair and wore a glasses, she was always smiling with tums up. They looked exactly the same except for the glasses and the hair.

I look at the woman sitting in front of me then back at the picture, trying to find out which one she was but it was hard.

Could this picture be real?

The woman in front of me was definitely one of the girls in the picture but which one was she?

I looked back down at the picture then a memory came flashing back in my mind.

I smiled sweetly at her as she pushed her glasses on her nose for the second time since she started reading. I walked over and sat on the couch next to her.

"Hello, four eyes monkey."

She frowned, "I'm not a monkey. Monkeys are ugly. I'm a unicorn."

I laughed at her silliness. "You didn't hear me call you four-eyes but you heard monkey. Women!"

She glared at me with her grey eyes. "I don't really care what you think about my glasses. I still can see without it so I'm not a four-eyes unicorn."

"You can see without it?" I asked with my brows raised.

"Yes, it's a reading glasses not a tested. I just wear to seem cool" She stated with a smirk.
