Chapter 138

Golden's POV.

Damon hugs his mother. I can see the genuine happiness in his eyes. This is the first time he'll talk to her as his real mother. They weren't able to meet during the second Batailen because of the unfortunate circumstances.

"Oh-ma? Is she my nanna?" Miracle asked curiously while staring at the old woman in front of us.

I smiled. "Yes, Miracle. She's your nanna," I replied. Her lips curved into a sweet smile. This is the first time she'll be meeting one of her surviving grandparents.

Damon's mother turned her attention to us. She smiled at me. I bowed slightly and did the same to her. Crystal's eyes landed on my daughter. I can see how genuinely happy she is to see my little one.

"Miracle," she called sweetly. My daughter glanced at me for approval. I smiled and nodded. She enthusiastically run to Crystal and hugged her.

"Nanna!"

"Ohh! You're so happy. I'm so happy to meet you too. Have you eaten already?"

"Yes, Nanna. But I'm still willing to eat the food here in Dragonia Kingdom!"

"Hahahah!"

"Hahahah!"

My smiled faded when I saw the a man walking towards us. He's still wearing his intimidating dragonian armor. I looked away when our eyes met. I can see him turning his head to look at Damon in the corner of my eyes. I bite my lower lip.

Why is he here?

"It's nice to see you again, Damon."

I looked at my husband. His bright face darkened after seeing his stepfather.

"You don't have to give me that face. I only came here to give this gift to your daughter. My past has nothing to do with my genuine affection for Miracle." He looked at my curious daughter. He smiled. "Hello there. My name is Greg. You can call me pappa if you want?" he said.

Miracle has an ability to sense danger. She got it from his father's dragonian traits. Something I don't have as a chosen.

My eyes grew big when Miracle started walking to the old man. I was about to grab her, but Damon stopped me. He gave me a meaningful smile. He wants me to let our daughter meet the dragonian who almost ruined us as parsens?

"Pappa?" she called. The old man's face wrinkled when he smiled. He took out a small box in his pockets and gave it to Miracle.

She stared at it curiously. "What is this Pappa?" she asked and looked at him.

"It's a lucky gem. Good things are tend to happen if you always keep this with you."

"Good things?"

"Yes." He smiled. "Like this one." Greg puts out a cute teddy bear and gave it my daughter. Miracle happily hugs it. She's always been a fan of stuffed toys. She love their softness.

"Thank you, Pappa!"

"You're welcome."

I flinched a little when Greg lifted his head to look at me. He locked eyes with mine. "There's no need to feel danger, Golden. I'm a clean man now. I've become an ivaw for three months since you left. I know my place now. Everyone does." There's a hint of friendly tone in his voice and I couldn't help, but feel dubious.

"He's cool, baby." A deep voice whispered in my mind. I turned to right to look at the guy beside me. His hand is still holding my arm. "I've forgiven him. You should too. He suffered from all the things he did to me already. I think it's the perfect time for us to forget it, so we can move on," he said. I stared at his green eyes. I see no hint of hesitation in everything he's saying to me right now.

"I don't know, Damon. I think you'll have to give me some time before I can fully accept him as our daughter's pappa."

Dragonians surrounded the place. Miracle is popular in here too. She's been flexing her spiked wings to everyone and they're loving it. She's so happy to see a lot of vortans like her. Everyone is using their wings. Colorful. Windy.

"Prrrrtttt!"

The sound of whistle from nearby residences can be heard inside the castle. Dragunus was kind enough to give us some of his time and give blessings to Miracle.

"You are a very pretty child, Miracle," he complimented. My daughter smiled proudly at him. "Tell me anything that you'd like to have. I'll do my best to make it happen."

I'm surprised that my daughter is not intimidated by the big God in front of him. She can literally reach God Dragunus' knees only. My daughter is that short. He's still wearing his very powerful looking armor that's made of diamonds and nickel.

"I'd like to have peace in Vortaxia!" she chirped making me so proud.

That's what I want too.

"Look who's here?" a bitchy voice made me looked into my side and my lips parted when I saw Selda. "Hello there, princess."

She's still calling me that?

Beside her is Draco. He's staring directly at my daughter. I wanted to stop him, but I realized that he's staring at her because of Miracle's unique wings. Does he want them or something.

"I really like your daughter. She's sweet and cute," she commented while looking at Miracle. "It doesn't necessarily mean though that I like you," she slurred. I looked on her face. She rolled her eyes.

"Miracle makes miracle." She smiled. A genuine one.

*****

My life has change forever since I accepted the invitation from Vortaxia. Who would have thought that people slash vortans with powers are true? I like reading fantasy books. But I never thought I'd come to a time where I'll have to read mine too.

I had so much fun in the world where I truly belong.

From my very hot and possessive dragon parsen to my little cute one. I've met so many Vortans from different races. I discovered secrets. I leaned from my mistakes. But the most important of all.

I leaned to be who I am.

I am Golden Young and this is the end of my story.
