"You know that there are way more better ideas than that, right?" Damon scoffed. He stared at me from head to toe. He's been like that since I wore this scandalous outfit. "You don't have to wear that to gain attention. Just change."
"Shut up. I didn't say anything when you told me that you'll use yourself as a bait, so do the same," I replied in a flat voice and continue putting make-up on my face.
We're currently here in my room and Elaine and Gab is on Tanya's. I genuinely appreciate his concern about my scandalous clothing, but I don't really think it's bad. The last time I wore this kind of outfit is when Damon's friend celebrated his birthday on our club. Plus, it's not like I'm wearing this because I want to. I have to wear this.
"But it's very unpleasant," he said desperately.
I stopped putting blush on my cheeks. Did I just heard him say the word unpleasant? This son of a dragon!
I glared at him. "What did you say!" I blurted. He looked away and scratch the back of his head.
"N—No! I mean, you look pretty. Like very pretty and sexy too. And I hate it. I hate the fact that people will stare at you. I don't like it when someone's looking at you," he admitted. I frowned at him.
"And you think it's okay for me to bait yourself on that woman? Do you think it was easy for me?" I said sarcastically. He lifted his head to meet my gaze. I gave him a disappointed look.
"I envy Elaine for having such an understanding parsen. It'll be really appreciated if you be like one too."
That's the last things I said to him before walking out of the door.

I'm still mad about what happened. He gets to act like that when he's jealous and I can't? And he'll call me immature when I'm jealous about the girls looking at him. He'll always give me that i'm-already-your-parsen card.
"What's with the long face? You're ruining your look," Elaine spoke. I glanced at her. She's currently fixing her green hair and putting it on a messy bun. "Did you guys fight?" she asked like as if she already know what's happening.
I looked directly in her eyes and nodded. "I hate it when he's acting like I can't do anything to myself not until he agrees first. He makes me feel like I don't belong," I told her. She landed her eyes back to the mirror and smiled.
"Oh, I know exactly what that feels. You know? Having a parsen with telepathic gift is very annoying. I can't hide things from him nor win an argument with him because he can always gets into my mind. It feels like I have no privacy anymore. He literally knows what's going on outside and inside. Isn't that just annoying?" she said in a flat voice. I stared at her.
Elaine is saying the word annoyed, but she doesn't look annoyed to me. She looks contended.
"Why do you look happy though? Aren't you supposed to be getting so worked up by now?" I asked dubiously. Knowing her, she gets annoyed easily especially to her own parsen. She chuckled softly and looked at my reflection on the mirror.
"Why would I be? Well, it's his gift. Given by the first God of Spheria. Why would I hate his gift? I met him like that and so I should love him until the very end like that too."
I bite my lower lip.
"I heard dragonians are possessive by nature. It's one of Damon's traits that you can never get away from. He's a dragon and it's normal for him to feel possessive of you. After all, you've always been his one and only apple," she said in an optimistic voice and winked at me. I gave her a small smile.
I'm not expecting to hear those meaningful words to come out of her mouth.
Who would have thought that the girl who always bicker with her parsen knows a lot about love? But I guess she's right. It's normal for Damon to feel more jealous of me. I was so petty about thinking that it's unfair when in fact, I don't even like the idea of wearing this.
I just wanted to see his reaction.
"Baby," a deep voice called. I looked at the slightly opened door of Tanya's room. Damon is peeking inside.
I glanced at Elaine when she suddenly stands up and starts to fix her stuffs. "I'll leave you two to talk," she said sweetly and walked past Damon.
"H—Hey," I said in a small voice.
Damon gazed at me using his mellow green eyes. He looks so gloomy right now. I looked away when he steps inside the room. "I'm sorry about what happened earlier. I shouldn't have said those words to you. I don't mean it. I'm just blinded by my jealousy," he apologize personally.
I creased my forehead sadly and take a quick glimpse of his gloomy face.
"I—I'm sorry too. I should have known better for I am your parsen, but I acted like an immature partner and said painful things to you," I replied back.
My shoulders winced when I heard his steps coming towards me. I thought he'll pull me into a hug, but the next thing he said made my lips parted in so much surprised.
"You can wear that to our mission. I'm sorry for acting out. I know that your intention if wearing that is genuine. It's a very effective way of distracting the people inside Blackhole."
H—He's letting me wear this?

Using the money we have, we called a cab just like normal people to go to the strip club. Elaine and I hailed a separate cab, so that they won't notice that we know each other right away.
Damon and I have unlocked our knot already and we can hear each other's thoughts. It will be a big help in this mission.
"Where are they?" Elaine whispered to me. We're now in front of the club. I can already feel the hungry stares of the people passing by.
I closed my eyes to connect with Damon's thoughts.
"Are you on position?" I asked.
A few moments of silence before I heard Damon's heavy breathing. "We've arrived inside already. Target is still not in here. Stay where you are," he said with authority.
I looked at Elaine who looks very uncomfortable about how these men stared at her like they're imagining her without clothes.
I leaned to her ear. "Don't mind them. We're doing really great in distracting these people. We're not doing anything yet, but we already have everyone's attention," I whispered to her ear. She glanced at me and smiled.
"I'm okay. Don't worry about me. Look at that man. He's been staring at me, so I decided to give her a flirty smile. Can't believe he's been dazing off since I did that," she said amusedly and pointed a guy from a far that's staring at nowhere.
I think Elaine is enjoying this.
"I found the target," Damon said in inside my head. I tucked my hair behind my ear seductively.
"Time to start the show, Elaine."
We plastered a flirty smile on our faces as we head to the entrance with our tall heels. I'm glad that Elaine knows how to wear them.
I smiled at the guy who's been staring at me since earlier.
"We're here to get wasted," I said to the huge man standing by the entrance. He looks tough and hard. He stared at us for a few moments before lending his hands to us. I bite my lower lip and draw little circles in his corded wrist. "Let us in and we'll turn this club upside down." I licked my lips and chuckled.
He nodded his head opened the door.
"That was easy," I whispered to myself and entered.
Elaine is beside me the whole time. The loud music didn't stop them from looking at us. Some tried to hit on us already, but we kept giving them the move we practice back home.
"Are they starting yet?" Elaine asked to me. She looks very uncomfortable already.
I closed my eyes to listen on Damon. "What's going on?" I asked.
My forehead wrinkled when I heard nothing from him. I was about to ask the same thing again when we heard a loud scream.
"AHHHHHHHHHH!"
