I don't know what is happening to me. I have this voice in the back of my head saying that I should go and find that woman singing like an angel in the sea. Her voice is so angelic it's enchanting me. I know that I should not be letting go of Damon's hand butt it feels like my body has its own life. I could not control it anymore. The weird thing is I am not bothered about it at all.
"Golden!"
I can hear him calling me but I just don't feel the urge to stop from swimming away from him. For some reason, he couldn't touch me.
He is way more faster than me but for some reason, he could not reach me. I can see him in the corner of my eyes trying to touch the tip of my foot but he keeps on failing because of an invisible shield making our physical interaction impossible.
"Ahhh... Lalala..." the girl sang.
Her voice is so beautiful.
"Lalala... Come here with me my little friend. I can help you find Fiscio," she whispers. Fiscio?! Yes! We are loong for Fiscio!
I extended my arms and swim harder to the surface. I can hear her voice from the surface of the water. She wants me to go there and find her. And I will.
"Golden!"
I reached for the surface. My mouth automatically breathes for air when my head's above water. I scanned the surface trying to find the singing woman. And there I saw her, sitting on the rock singing her heart out. I smiled and swim toward her.
I saw Damon reaching the surfce of the water too in the corner of my eyes. The mermaid notices me right away. She is brushing her hair using her fish like hands while looking at me seductively. Damon is chasing me from behind but I did not care.
ALl I want is to have that mermaid's atention.
"Golden stop!" I heard him ye;;ed but I didn't even flinched. I am determined to have her touch me and own me.
I can't believe I'm saying these words inside my head right now. I am fully aware that what I'm doing is a trap but there's no way to stop this insatiable feeling I have inside. This is just too much.
"Grghh!" he growled. Wait? Growled?
It was too late for me to realize that Damon have transformed himself to a dragaon already. I was caught off guard when he suddenly blew the mermaid a blue hot fire. She screamed so hard that it hurt my ears. The mermaid immediately dive in the water to get rid of the flame in her body.
That's when I felt my body once again. It was like she was in full control of me.
"Baby!" he called. I turned to look at him and he's already making his way to get near me. He closed the gap in our bodies and kissed me.
Oh my gosh. I can't believe that just happened. I was so conident that no mermaids can put me under their spell and here I am ruining our mission. If it weren't for Damon, I would have been contained and locked in forever.
"Don't let go of me!" he growled. I can sense the angriness in his voice that he's trying to hold back. I smiled weakly and caress his face.
"I'm sorry. It was hard to control. She was trying to get inside my mind. She's trying to control me," I explained. He heaves a sigh and cupped my face.
"Please don't be sorry. It's not your fault. I want you to apply what we have learned in Diante's classes. He taught us about control and presence of mind, right?" he says. I smiled and nodded my head. Yeah, I did not know he was actually listening to his classes.
"Shall we continue?" he asked.
We dived in the deepness of the sea once again. There were still different fishes. I wanted to feel bad about what happened to that mermaid. It must have hurt so bad. Blue fire is the hottest. It must have surprised her skin that's always under the water.
We spent hours looking for Fiscio but we couldn't see him.
We peaked through and called him in different clams we seen but we failed to see him. Time passed quickly and I start to feel hungry. My legs starts to feel numb too. We have been swimming for who knows how long already. I stopped moving my legs. Damon who's holding my hand turned to look at me curiously.
"Is there something wrong?" he asked and swim to me. I looked in his worried green eyes. Don't he feel hungry?
"I'm starving," I told him. He smiled shortly and squeexe my hands.
"Should we go back to the surface and eat first?" he asked. I nodded happily and we both move our legs to ascend ourselves in the surface of the sea. He helped me put myself up on the water. My legs felt weak but I managed to stand normally.
"I have the bean," he says. "Let's set a picnic area in here. I brought some towels and stuff." I grabed the towel from him. He'll do the cooking and I'll do the setting. I'm not good at cooking and that's for sure.
"Tes tamos toroqi," he chanted. I watched him sprinkle the beans with water. It turned to a feast and I couldn't help but drool over. Gawd! I'm so hungry. PHave eyou set the table already?" he asked.
My lips formed an 'o'. I almost forget ablut that. I immediately grab the small case in my pocket and chanted the secret spell.
"Los to me cuentori," I chanted. He smiled while watching me. He looks so proud.
"What are you looking at?" I asked. He chuckled and snatch the small case from me.
"You said it wrong," he says. I did? I don't think so. "Los to me cuentory," he chants. Well it didn't sound that diffferet to me. I rolled my eyes when te case starts to enlarge and turn to a picnic spot. I sat on it like a princess and he smile amusedly.
"What?" I asked. Why does he keep on looking at me? He chuckled again making me more frustrated.
"Look at you. Hahaha!" he laughs. I frowned at him. What in a bloody hell is he laughing at? "You look cute when you're hungry," he smiled.
I rolled my eyes. I really hate it when he makes fun of fme especially when I'm hungry. Like he could literally just give me the food right now. Geez!
"Give me the food, Damon." My brows furrowed. He laughed again and start to prepare the food. I rolled my eyes one again.
