"I never thought you would act so closely," said Sevano, shaking his head softly.
Nick, who was standing beside him, grinned. "How? Do you still doubt the sincerity of my future wife?" he asked in a seductive tone. Sevano only smiled faintly and stretched out his hand towards Ramona.
"From now on, we will work together," said Sevano steadily.
Ramona smiled softly and nodded. The three of them then stepped into the arsenal. Inside, Sevano's eyes widened with twinkle as he looked at the contents of the warehouse filled with advanced and cutting-edge weapons. The steel shelves are filled with automatic rifles, chrome-plated pistols, and explosives with the latest technology that appears to be specially designed by Hunter.
"So here he keeps all his weapons reserves," Sevano muttered, his voice trembling with admiration. He went deeper, observing each weapon with a hungry look.
Nick, who also looked excited, approached one of the large shelves and examined the weapons one by one carefully. "If we can move all of this to our warehouse, no one can stop us. We will be the most powerful mafia leaders in Malta and Wuhan. All those entrepreneurs will come to us. Members who need weapons will buy from us. We will become rich, Sevano. And not only that, we can expand our power as far as we want."
Sevano nodded excitedly. "I agree, Nick. This is a golden opportunity that we should not miss."
Meanwhile, Ramona just stood beside Nick, observing the warehouse with mixed feelings. He still doesn't fully understand why these weapons are so important to Nick and Sevano, or what impact they will have on their lives in the future. However, he chose to stay with Nick, staying true to the decision he had made.
"Come on, let's start making a plan to move everything," Nick said in an ambitious tone. Sevano nodded, her gaze full of confidence, while Ramona continued to follow them with calm steps.
Nick and Sevano, after being content to walk around the armory, immediately devised a strategy to move the entire arsenal. In the midst of their discussion, Ramona suddenly said, "I'm leaving. You can talk to the two of you."
Nick immediately blocked his hand. "Where are you going? Stay by my side. You are also part of us, baby. In the future, you will be the ones who will take the lead in my territory. You also have the right to know where we store these weapons," Nick said firmly, making Sevano nod in agreement.
"I'm afraid of making you doubt. I can wait outside," said Ramona, continuing to try to dodge. However, Nick immediately withdrew his hand until Ramona sat on his lap.
"Stay with me. It's just talking about weapon storage, baby," Nick said softly, looking at him with confidence.
Sevano, who had been paying attention since earlier, cleared his throat loudly and muttered, "I'm still here." His stern tone made the atmosphere a little awkward.
Nick only smiled at Sevano's words, while Ramona finally gave up. He wrapped his arms around Nick's neck, listening intently to their plan. Although he still felt a little uncomfortable, the warmth and confidence Nick showed kept him there, noticing how the two men devised a strategy to move the weapons to a safer place.
After finishing from the armory, Nick escorts Ramona home. On the way, Ramona grabbed Nick's arm and rested his head there. "Can I go back to your mansion? I was lazy to go back to the apartment. Hunter always came there to ask a lot of questions. Moreover, he tried to attract my attention by taking care of my son. Tonight alone, may I spend the night in your mansion?" he asked quietly, in a tone full of hope.
Hearing that, Nick immediately pulled his car over on the shoulder of the road. He looked at Ramona seriously before finally saying, "Of course you can. You don't need to ask permission for such a thing, baby. From now on, consider my mansion your home as well." Ramona smiled and immediately gently crushed Nick's lips.
Nick took off his seat belt, holding onto the nape of Ramona's back neck to deepen their bangs. Their kiss was getting more intense and a little wild, looking so passionate as if the two wanted each other.
Nick pulled herself away, gently stroked Ramona's cheek and said, "Let's go home first, shall we? I have to see my mom to talk about our marriage." Ramona nodded and remained pampled on Nick's arm and even leaned his head on Nick's shoulder.
Upon arriving at the mansion, Nick turned his head and saw Ramona sleeping very peacefully. Nick couldn't help but smile when he saw how beautiful Ramona was when he slept.
Slowly Nick let go of Ramona's hand and hurried down, lifting the slender body into his mansion and slowly lying down on his bed.
Nick wrapped his arms around Ramona and kissed her forehead for a long time before he left his room to go to his mother's mansion, talking about his marriage.
In another mansion, Belinda and Sire were sitting in a magnificent living room, enjoying their afternoon tea. Unbeknownst to Hunter, they are planning a wedding.
"Tante, is this really okay we talk about marriage without Hunter? What if he gets angry?" asked Sire in an anxious tone.
Belinda smiled softly and immediately held Sire's hand with full confidence. "You can calm down, baby. Auntie will support you with Hunter. Hunter won't fight back this time. She would definitely obey her aunt's words. We can use Ramona's son as an excuse," Belinda replied in a tone full of certainty.
Sire smiled in relief and nodded in agreement. In his heart, he felt more confident that their plan would go smoothly.
"Auntie!" called a beautiful and tall woman.
Belinda smiled broadly and immediately got off the sofa, "Teresa!" the woman immediately hugged Belinda happily.
Sire was just silent, not knowing who the woman was, she only thought about her position as Hunter's future mistress.
"Who is he?" asked Teresa when she saw Sire for the first time.
Belinda smiled and said, "It's Sire, your brother's future wife!" Sire immediately smiled and stretched out his hand to Teresa.
Teresa immediately looked at Belinda reluctant to accept Sire's helping hand, "Then where is Ramona?" Sire immediately pulled her hand back with an angry and irritated feeling, but she was trying to smile at this moment.
Belinda immediately sat down next to Sire and replied, "Don't ask Ramona when Sire is here. The one who will marry your brother in the future is Sire, not Ramona." Teresa straightened her hair and glanced at Sire.
"But Ramona gave birth to a son for Hunter, I guess he's the one who deserves to be his wife in the future, doesn't you want a grandson as the heir to the family?" Belinda immediately looked at Teresa.
"Teresa is enough, please appreciate Sire, I don't care if Ramona gives birth to Hunter's son or not, the most important thing now is that Hunter will marry Sire," Teresa just nodded casually at Sire flat even though Sire had been trying to throw a smile at her.
"Ma," called the newly arrived Hunter.
"Hunter Brother," Teresa called out excitedly and immediately spilled into her cousin's arms.
"When are you coming back?" asked Hunter, gently rubbing Teresa's back.
Teresa elaborated on her hug and replied, "Just now. I miss you so much, I've been wanting to see you for a long time, how are you doing now?" he asked repeatedly, making Hunter ruffle his hair.
That irritates Sire, Hunter can be close to anyone but not with him.
"I'm fine," Hunter replied briefly and went straight to his mother.
"It just so happens that you are here Hunter, mama and Sire are talking about your wedding, maybe tomorrow Sire will start fitting dresses, please accompany her, huh?" asked Belinda with full of brilliance.
"Sorry ma, Hunter is busy with office matters, when did Hunter say he agreed to marry her?" Teresa immediately curled her smile while Belinda immediately got off the sofa and stared at Hunter angrily.
"What did you say Hunter? Yesterday's dinner was your fiancé's event with Sire, didn't Ramona also agree to marry Nick and your wedding will be held together?" asked Belinda in surprise with Hunter who suddenly refused to marry Sire.
Hunter took a deep breath and replied, "Isn't that event to trap Ramona?" Belinda was stunned to hear that, how could Hunter know?
"What do you mean?" asked Belinda angrily making Hunter very lazy to actually argue with her mother, because it would end in an offer or threat.
Hunter looked at Sire, as if giving a code for Sire to leave.
Teresa, who understood her brother's gaze, suddenly said, "Come with me." Sire then leaves from there and leaves Belinda and Hunter.
Hunter immediately sat down on the sofa with a big sigh as if to show that he was very disappointed with his mother.
"Why did you come to Nick and tell him everything? Mama even revealed everything about Ramona's problem to Nick, didn't she herself tell us to keep all these secrets until everything is over? Why are you doing this behind my back? You are unknowingly helping Nick in destroying me, why did you do that?" asked Hunter with disappointment without raising his tone.
Belinda was nervous, confused and panicked, afraid that Hunter would get angry and shut up, especially Belinda was very afraid that Hunter hated her, how was this?
Belinda immediately walked up to Hunter and said, "Hunter is sorry mama. I'm sorry mama." Hunter slightly opened both of his eyes as if he was surprised.
"Mama is just afraid that you are in love with Ramona and lulled by her, you even care so much about her son Ramona, you don't want Ramona to destroy you, therefore, you want to prove Ramona's words," Belinda paused her speech for a moment.
Belinda began her explanation again, "She said she would never hold you accountable, or even demand anything on her son's behalf. Because Mama is not sure, Mama deliberately wants to match Nick with her. It turns out that Nick agrees to help. But this is also not entirely mama's fault, right? If only Ramona hadn't come here after five years of disappearing, maybe Mama wouldn't have done this. Think about it, five years after he disappeared and then came back with his son, didn't he really want to destroy you on purpose? Doesn't it look very obvious if he's trying to get revenge on you? He will definitely want to repay us Hunter." Hunter couldn't believe that his mother had this kind of thinking.
"Do you know, Ramona is here because Hunter brought her from Los Angeles, not by Ramona's own will, and Esther. He's my biological son, if Ramona asks for accountability in the future, it's deserved, Hunter will be responsible for it," Belinda immediately looked at Hunter in surprise.
"Didn't you say that if you hate him? Just using him as your tool for revenge with the Bainchi company? Why now do you change your mind by wanting to be responsible for him? Has he poisoned your brain? What did he tell you?" asked Belinda, who was not believing as Hunter began to faint.
Hunter shook his head and immediately got off the sofa, "Hunter himself doesn't know ma, this feeling just grew like that. Even Hunter doesn't know Hunter's will." Belinda immediately got off the sofa.
"You're not in love with him is you? Soon she'll be Nick's wife, please forget about her Hunter, and marry Sire, the media never knew who your wife used to be so don't muddy the public by exposing your past relationship with Ramona, think about our family's reputation, what do they say out there when they find out if you married a maid?" Belinda is still trying to convince Hunter not to fall in love with Ramona, because it will be dangerous and have a bad impact on their family's image.
Hunter sighed and replied, "Hunter already doesn't care about all that ma. While with them, Hunter finds calm. Hunter just wants to get happiness in his life partner. If you still insist on marrying me to Sire," Hunter shook his head softly.
"It's possible that our family will be destroyed, because Nick will marry Ramona and revenge on Bainchi will fail, because as long as you know, Nick is a good friend of Bainchi's son, don't think Nick didn't know when you told him about Ramona who worked in Bainchi after revealing Ramona's identity in front of Nick, so don't force Hunter to marry Sire if you want our revenge on Bainchi to be fulfilled, because Nick is a person who has big ambitions in destroying our family," Hunter said making Belinda still unable to accept all that.
Hunter was about to leave but was stopped when Belinda asked again, "What's wrong with telling Nick that Ramona is the woman you failed to marry in the first place? It is just a thing of the past. Nick wouldn't care about Ramona. After all, Ramona doesn't have any power to benefit from and won't have any impact on all your plans." Hunter immediately turned to face his mother.
"Because Nick knows, if Ramona is my weakness!" replied Hunter.
