"Yes.. ma'am." Peter nervously replied, as he hadn't thought of seeing Cindy too, and the woman sighed out, "Okay P.. Here's the new phone that I got for you, And I have already put a new Simcard into it, so that you won't give me another excuse that you don't have a phone to call me. So later, we will get to meet and discuss, as I have somewhere to be before 4pm, and I'm not done.with my shopping yet."
"Okay," Peter replied, and he accepted the phone.from beautiful woman hand with his shaking hands, And Cindy frowned, as she stood there, and she watch Peter accepted the phone, and the woman that was even old enough to be Peter's mother, smile seductively to Peter, and she asked Peter, "Won't you tell me thank you at least?."
Peter forced a handsome smile and he nervously replied to the woman, "Thank you ma."
"That's alright.. I will call you later, As I see that your friend here is making you uncomfortable with our business proposal, " The middle age woman's eyes raked at Cindy angrily, As she eyed Cindy from head to toe. As she knew that Cindy was also from a rich family with how sophisticated Cindy looks.And she knows that there was no way on earth that a poor man like Peter would have anything doing with Cindy, and she said to Peter, "Bye P.. I will call you later, after I'm through with my company works for today, And don't forget to get your CV and other documents ready, so that I can help you to process our contract fast."

Peter was taken aback by Cindy questions at him, and though he knew that Cindy likes him, but he had told her that he cannot accept to date her, As he was poor and won't be able to give her the kind of love that she deserves so it was best that they didn't proceeded with the relationship, and he replied to her, "All that doesn't matter, As what matter now is why you're here? Did you bought anything at the market today and need my help to carry it?."
Cindy shook her head, and her pretty yellow face had turned red, and Peter got confused on how she suddenly turned teary within a seconds, and he asked her, "Are you okay?."
"No!.. I came to look for you since, As I want to see you, and to apologize to you for the other day."
Peter was still wearing one of the new clothes that he had bought, and though since the day that Cindy ran away from him, he hadn't been able to focus on his job again, and he said to her, "I told you that we cannot date, and I'm not lying too you."

"What are you trying to do? Give it back to me," Peter requested as he meet her gazed on him, but Cindy replied, "No!.. I'm not going to give it to you, as I'm going to throw this phone into the gutter, and you won't get to see it again."
" No, stop! What has come over you?"Peter caught with Cindy quickly, before she would run away or throw the phone away into any gutter, and he seized her by hugging her from behind with his masculine body, and he didn't mind the people passing around the market that were staring at them.
"Fine, I'm sorry about how you might feel, but I'm not the one asking the woman out, As she wouldn't just let me be.. Don't throw the phone away, As she might use it to threatened me, and is an expensive phone too, and an IPhone, As I don't have the money to pay her back if you ruined it," Peter said calmly, and he finally let go off Cindy to maintain distance between them, and Cindy shook her head and told him,"I won't give it back to you, As I'm sure that woman want a relationship from you too.."
Peter stared at Cindy's beautiful face as he was standing in front of her, And he wasn't angry at her reaction, as he knew that she was genuine about her feelings to him, and he sighed and said, "Alright. I promise you I won't date her, As she was offering me a job actually in her company.. but with a contract deal attached to it, and I don't know if I can do it.."
Cindy already knew what the contract deal was all about, and she wipe her face and replied to Peter,"The reason why I won't give you back this phone.. As I actually came here to apologize to you and to see if we can get along and become as genuine friends, and I even..."
Cindy couldn't completed her statement, As she didn't know how Peter would reacted if she told him that she bought a house for him too, As with the way that he had calmly stared at her, She couldn't help but fall more deeply in love with him, and she didn't know what was pushing her either to be courageous enough to ask a man like him out, when she knows that the society would frowned at their relationship and even her parent and friend won't accept of them, but she still want to give her heart a trial.
