He gets up and storms towards me, eyes fixed on mine. He almost scared me.
“Ethan?”
He cupped my face and his expression went straight o biggest concern and scared. Ethan kissed my forehead and forced me to look straight at him.
“Do you have any idea how much I’ve been fucked up because of you?! I texted you every 10 minutes when I stopped hearing from you after 3 fucking hours! What the hell happened to ‘I’ll fill in with you’?” He complains, growling.
“Ethan, I...Look. I was about to pick up my phone but I accidentally left it here..I..”
“You came all this way just to check if I was okay?”
“Of course I did! What kind of question is that? The woman I fucking love goes silent and I just stay in California managing my work?”
Ethan takes a step back in disappointment.
“Look, I’m fine. And Ethan...Ugh...We were just having some fun. If you go out on a trip alone with some friends only to enjoy, you don’t always be attentive towards your...other friend or family member or...lover.”
“I would have.” He says.
“Ethan, I’m fine. You’re fighting over nothing.”
“Maybe for you, but for me? It was a fucked up big deal!”
He says, and he walks out of the room.
“Where are you going?! ETHAN!”
“Back to California. If you want an inattentive personality, you’ll get one now!”
“Ethan! Ethan!!”
Ugh!! I lock the door and went straight into the bathroom to take a shower and fall asleep, washing the hangover.

Knock knock knock.
I woke up, still feeling a massive load of crap in my head, as I cannot recall what happened last night. I check the time on my phone and it was 9:49 AM.
“FUCK!”
I stand up instantly, walking towards the door.
“Mai, Hailey? Wh-what are you guys doing here?”
They both exchange looks and then stare at me.
“Wh-what?!”
“I texted you in the morning. We all agreed to meet down in the garden to have some breakfast together. You didn’t show up, so we thought we’ll come to check on you.” Mai explains.
“Are you well? You look as if...you...cried.”
“Wow, And I thought I was the only one drunk yesterday,” Mai says, giggling.
“No, I...uhhh.” I say and I hide my face behind my hands.
“What?” Hailey asks.
“I just...”
“I had a fight with Ethan,” I say, walking inside the room, letting them in.
“Ethan? I mean, Mr Cooper? He was here?” Mai asks.
“Come on, you can call him Ethan. He’s not here.” I say while sitting down on the bed.
“Wait, who’s Ethan Cooper? Eth-ohhh....Ethan Cooper? Your boyfriend is Ethan Cooper?” Hailey says while sitting right next to me on the bed.
“Yeah, he’s my boyfriend.”
“What happened? And why was he..here?”
“It was a whole stupid fight. I can’t even believe he would come here over something this...kiddish.”
“You’re losing us here, Anna.”
“It was..you know what? Forget it. I don’t wanna ruin my morning like this. What’re we going to do today?”
They exchanged looks. Hailey and Mai both knew if they continued this conversation, it’ll end up bad for all of us so, they eventually dropped it.
“Alright. We were thinking of going to the mall today.” Mai says.
“Yeah, I’ve heard they sell clothes and lingerie at hella cheap prices.”
“Really?”
“Yeah, a lot of varieties, too.”
“So, when are we leaving?”
“At 11,” Mai says.
“Alright, I’ll meet you in your room.”
“Okay, we’re next door if you need us,” Hailey says, and she gets up.
Mai and Hailey say their goodbyes for now and walk out of my room. I fall down the bed and took my phone in hand, hoping for a text or even a call from Ethan.
“Huh, didn’t expect that from Mr Billionaire.” I had no notification from him.
But I had one from...him.
Heard you and the girls are on a small vacation. If you think taking a break from us might help you choose who you want to be with, I guess it’s for the best. You and I both know who you truly want to be with, since the first Night.
I’ll wait for you, Anna.
I throw my phone a little farther from my bed, looking straight at the ceiling above me.
“I’m screwed,” I say.

After a short while, I did my usual routine and went straight towards Mai’s room. As soon as I locked my door, I bump into him.
“Woah, Easy there, cowgirl.”
“Carlo? What are you doing here?”
“I’m a chef and the bartender here.” He smiles.
“You’re a chef?”
“Is it hard to believe?”
“Well, uh ...you look more like a tattoo artist to me. Giver that you’re covered in tattoos.”
We chuckle as Mai walks out of her room. She gazes at me and started teasing me, standing behind Carlo, making me almost burst out laughing.
“Well, many people here are covered in tattoos, so.”
I cough to prevent myself from laughing as Mai was now duck-dancing behind him.
“Ahem, Uh...Hey, why don’t we meet later? I actually have to meet up with the girl so,”
“Oh, sure sure. We’ll surely meet again, Ms?”
“Oh, yeah, I’m sorry. I didn’t introduce myself properly. I’m Anna..Anabelle Lockwood.”
“Pleased to meet you, Anabelle.”
He takes my hand and kisses it, making me turn red.
“Please, Just Anna.”
We passed each other a brief smile and went our way.
“Couldn’t you wait for like, 2 seconds, Mai?”
“And what? Let you flirt with that sexy stranger all by yourself? Get out!”
“I wasn’t flirting with him.”
“Well, he was if you can’t see yourself.”
“Even if he was flirting, I couldn’t care about him less.”
“That’s what you think.” Mai winks at me as we both walk down towards Hailey’s room.
“Good thing Hailey wasn’t here. She would throw herself onto him before even letting you know.”
Suddenly, we heard noises from Jay’s room. They were like someone was struggling...and...fighting....
“What the hell is that?” Mai asks.
“Is Jay okay?”
“We have to check..come on.”
At first, we called out to her.
“Jay...Jay, are you okay?!”
There was no answer.
“Okay, screw this.”
I instantly opened the door and...I was sent straight to hell for what I just interrupted.
