Ciara's POV
I sighed. I can’t help but worry because not all the time I get to be with him especially now that he’s in a different section.
What if the time comes that he gets tired? Or what if, he suddenly falls in love with another woman he is close with?
Come to think about it that Shan is my best friend and he fell in love with me. What if he has a new girl best friend, then he falls in love with that new best friend, too?
"Hey!" I was surprised when Patrick, who was already in front of me, suddenly shouted, "Are you okay? You haven't eaten your hotdog yet."
"Huh?" I don't seem to be on my own anymore and now I notice that the hotdog I'm holding hasn't been eaten yet.
"The hotdog, Ciara. You haven't finished yet," he pointed at my hand and my friends laughed.
"Of course. I'm sorry about that," I said and bit the hotdog. Please, come to your senses! Don't overthink so much, Ciara Rose!
"What are you thinking about, huh? Share it! Share it!" said Patricia and sat down next to me.
"That's nothing. I'm still kind of full," I said, "And ... I just miss Shan, that's all!"
"Hmm go ahead, if you say so," Patty said and took my hotdog, "you're full, aren't you? I can handle this."
I didn't mind it yet and just picked up my phone and played PUBG. For those who don't know, I'm good at this game.
Kidding! I don’t know much but I just enjoy it when I am playing.
After a while, my cellphone rang and signaled that Shan was calling so I immediately answered, "Hey, babe!"
"Hey! Where are you? Our class is finished. We just finished so early," he replied on the other line and I looked at the wall clock, it was only 8:15 in the morning.
"We're here at the Computer Lab, hanging out with Rafa and Angelo. Just come here," I said and he agreed before he dropped the call.
I looked at my friends, "Shan is coming here, they're done with class."
They nodded and at the same time just played on their phone while I was just waiting for him. About a few minutes later, Shan arrived and even Zam was with him.
He approached me, "Hey, baby. I miss you!" he kissed me on my hair and also greeted the group, "Great! It's still fun when the whole group is with me."
"It's a pity, dude, that you're the only one separated. Is it forbidden to change?" Patrick asked who was still eating.
He shook his head, "No chance, dude. It's a pity! Sir Justin is strict about it. What block section is, remains to that section."
"Let it go, baby. We'll be together too, eh. We live next door, remember?" I teased him and he smiled and hugged me.
"EHEM! Cut it out, look at your side," Rafa replied and teased Zam who was just sitting on the side, "Maybe Zam will be jealous by what you're doing, as she doesn't have a partner."
Shan turned to him, "Of course, Je suis désolé, Zam," Shan said to him and Zam just nodded. I don't know what that means but I don't care.
Ciara's POV
We just finished our second subject. After our session in Rafael's office, it was exactly quarter to nine when we crossed to the other building and it was super annoying because our professor took a class! After all, it is one of our major subjects as well.
At 10:30 AM, we also had a class as well as Shan and Zam. Our first subject was their break time. In the second subject, we discussed a little about Management Economics and such, but we also finished early.
"Hey! It's good and our class is over," Patrick said and looked at me, "Did you know that my parents had scolded me when we came home from Surigao?"
I frowned at him and wondered, "Why's that?"
"They found out I was drinking and drunk," he said with a laugh, "After all, we're from a Christian Family, right?"
I remember that their Family is Christian so why does he drink that time? "Oh, is it my fault if I scolded you? Why are you drinking back then?"
He just shrugged, "Nothing. I was just right in the mood to drink and then I was thinking a lot about it so I just drink it all away."
I looked at Patty who was listening to us and grabbed her, "Hey, Patty! Why did you let this man drink that time? Look at it, the poor baby was scolded."
"I'm not a kid, it doesn't matter so I just let it go," he said so I was shaken.
"You're serious about that? You're a Christian, then it's okay? I don't think so," I said and Patty looked stunned.
I don't know what it's called but it seems like if you do it, you are like a hypocrite acting like one.
"W-well, yeah it's wrong. That can't be happening. Ciar, thanks for reminding me," she said, "I'll stop him next time."
"Wow, twin. You're that concerned about me," Patrick replied to the conversation and put his arm around the two of us, "Come on and have lunch with us. Raf and Angelo, come with us."
We left the room at the same time and as usual, Patrick Lim had a lot of fans. Sometimes I wonder if he really is gay or is he just pretending? Isn't it unbelievable that this one is gay?
As we entered the school cafeteria, our eyes caught Shan and Zam who were still slightly laughing.
"Hey, it looks like the ex-best friend has a new girl best friend now, the ex-best friend is now his girlfriend?" Patrick laughed as he pointed out their behavior. I looked at him and didn't care what he said.
I immediately went over and hugged Shan from his back, "Hi, baby!"
He looked surprised but also recovered. He stood up and even hugged me tightly. God, I love his smell! "Hi, baby! How're your classes?"
"Well, it's fine. It's more fun when you're with us," I said and turns to Zam who was looking at me, "Hi, Zam!"
She didn't speak but she just smiled back. Shan and Patrick ordered so we were the only ones left. I turned to Zam, "So, how's your first day here, Zam?"
She turned to me and smiled as well, "Well, it's fine. Though other instructors are just starting but quizzes right away and also discussing."
I laughed, "Oh, it's good that we haven't discussed much yet. We even took a class in Management Economics, but it's kind of easy. How about you? You don't have a class in the second subject?"
She shakes her head, "No, the instructor kind of didn't go in earlier."
I nodded and at the same time, Patrick and Shan returned with our order, as well as Angelo who brought his and Raffy's food.
"Yes, we can eat now! I am starving!" Patricia said and arranged her things while taking her food from Patrick's hands.
I turned to Shan who gave Zam the food before he laid in front of me the food he bought for me. He sat down next to me and smiled.
"Eat a lot, baby. I don't want you to starve," Shan said and I laughed.
"Yes, baby. You know that food is my life," I said. I spooned some food and also fed Shan.
"Oh, wow! I hope it's all exciting!" Patty stuck with us.
"What's so exciting? Those two are making us jealous because we're single. Aren't we, guys?"
"You're right, Patrick!" Angelo agreed with Patrick until our table rang when Julie suddenly came.
"HEY! Not that loud! The others are staring at you, look!" she scolded and sat down next to me, "Is it okay if I'll sit next to you?"
"Of course," I laughed, "we're friends, you're not a stranger."
Soon, we ate our lunch as well. We hung out in the school shed until Shan, Zam, Rafael, and I separated. Rafa is a student's assistant so his schedule is kind of irregular.
Patrick came up to me and put his arm around me, "You're too slow to walk, Shar!"
I immediately pinched his side so he was immediately released by hugging me and shouting in pain, "You can be insulting!"
"OUCH! You're sadistic! It's just a joke!" he still shouted. Patricia and Angelo, who were just in front of us, also laughed.
"Come on and we might be late for class," I heard Angelo say.
"You're always talking about class, class, class. It's just the first day of class so we shouldn't stress this!" said Patrick, "What if we ditch? Let's go to the mall!"
Patricia pretended to be happy with what Patrick said but she immediately took it back and knocked her twin's head. I feel sorry for him, too much pain!
"You're so mean to me!" Patrick growled at us, "Let's go, and maybe we'll be late."
The four of us entered CBE Building room 303 at the same time. I was surprised because Shan and I were in the building at the same time, so I approached them, "Are you here too, baby?"
He turned to us and was a little surprised when he saw us, "Hey, babe! What are you doing here? Isn't theology your class now?"
I nodded and Patrick said to him, "Yes, why? Our schedule says that our room now is in room 303."
"Are you sure it's CBE 303? As far as I know, there is no theology subject in the CBE building. Usually, the theology classes are only in the main building," replied Rafael, who was with Zam and Shan.
"Yeah ... just wait and I'll get our schedule," Patrick said and even opened his bag to get our printed schedule, "Here it is! It says here that our room is ..." Patrick looked at the paper he was holding was good and suddenly he was scratching the back of his neck.
"Oh, what is our schedule? I mean, room number schedule?" Patricia asked.
"CB 303 is our room," he said softly. Patricia just frowned and we laughed at her. Oh my! Experience!
"Ohhh, it's CB! Not CBE," said Zam who also laughed at Patrick.
"I'm sorry, guys! I thought it was CBE, it turns out that it is CB," he said and just shook his head, "Oh, okay then. We're leaving and we're going back to the main building."
I smiled at Shan, "We better get going, babe! Bye!" and I even kissed him on the cheek before we turned to go back to the main building.
Now I know that we are in the right classroom because I saw my other classmates in the A-11 section so we sat in the back. It's good that we're not late yet because we've traveled so long, and then we almost made a mistake in the classroom.
"CBE, alright," I heard Patricia still teasing her twin, "Admit it, twin. You have a crush there, don't you?"
"Tss, of course not! Who will be my crush? There's nothing beautiful and handsome there in CBE!" Patrick was defending so I turned my attention to him.
"So, Patrick ... do you mean there's a chance you'll fall in love with a woman? I mean, you mentioned beautiful earlier," I asked him. I could see in his face that he was surprised that he didn't expect that I would ask him but he just cleared his throat.
"Y-Yeah, of course. Even though I'm like this, I love some girls, too. But, the case is she doesn't love me."
I looked at Patricia who signaled that I should ask her more questions. I turned my gaze back to Patrick and directed him to ask, "So ... you like a woman and her name is Ara, don't you?"
Her eyes widened and she didn't seem to expect what I discovered, "H-how do you --"
"Good afternoon, everyone!" Patrick didn't continue what he was going to say when suddenly a man came in who was probably our instructor, "Welcome to this class, Theo 120 - Christian Faith! I am Manner Zafar and I will be your theology instructor. I am 26 years old. old and had finished my seminaries, this is the last step for my goal to be successful. "
"Good afternoon too, Sir Zafar!" we all greet him.
