We did one round of practice and then I returned to my seat. A few hours later, the theater room was packed with people, including our classmates and blockmates who had come to show their support for Kyle.
The program began with a prayer, followed by the National Anthem and the FSUU Hymn after a minute. The emcee also made an appearance, as did the heads of the schools in our program.

I only recently discovered that our school hosts similar events and activities. I had no desire to engage in such events back in high school at the time. That is why I am not as well-known as Shan, who has been a member of Agusan High's Basketball Varsity Team since he was a freshman. He's also a great dancer and part of the Dance Club way back in High School.
He's a hottie, a genius, and a nice guy. Before, all I could think about was him loving me back. But he's already mine now.
I observed Jay approaching my direction and handing me the day's event schedule. "What the hell with this? We are next?" I said as my eyes widened in surprise.
"It's rather annoying! They just gave me that right now," he added, and I sensed the displeasure in his voice. "Anyway, just be ready."
Before he departed, I nodded and encouraged him. I turned to Shan and informed him we'd be up next after the speech, so he got my phone ready to record it. I promised my folks that I would record it and show it to them.
I was suddenly feeling nervous and nauseous because our Dean's address had just ended, so I stood up and joined my band, who were standing in the distant corner.

"Thank you for that fantastic speech. Today, we'll listen and watch a wonderful performance led by Jay Terro and his band, the C.I.T Band! Please give them a big round of applause!"
We took the stage, and they applauded, and I could see my classmates cheering — of course, along with my biggest supporters, the twins, Faith, and my gorgeous boyfriend.
I looked at Josh, who was our drummer, and he signaled by tapping his sticks together. We began to play the intro, and I began to close my eyes. It's time to get a sense of what I'm about to sing.
“For a long time, I followed

The whole world
To find
To find you,"
I had waited a long time for the man I loved. I've been waiting for him to love me as well for a long time. I'm looking for him everywhere, and I'm tempted to give up and find someone else.
“Traveled the district
Of your sadness
Pick up, pick you up,"
I took advantage of the situation while you were hurt. I know what I did wasn't right because people believe I kidnapped my closest friend from his ex-girlfriend, but I couldn't care less.
“I’m following you
Expecting you from now on
I love you
Expect it from now on
I love you,"
"Hang me
Your dream
‘No less
What will be given,"
I know it's enough now that I've stated that you are my dream. I sincerely hope that we will remain here indefinitely.
"Give up the nervousness
You keep letting go
You have faith
Have faith,"
“I’m following you
Expecting you from now on
I love you
Expect it from now on
I love you,"
They were completely silent as we finished playing, but I didn't expect them to cheer for us—they were still giving a standing ovation for what they were doing, and I just smiled before exiting the stage.
I returned to my seat and I saw the huge grin on Shan's face, "Babe, that was so fantastic! I know your voice is really beautiful, but today it's especially beautiful and poignant."
"Aww, thank you, babe!" I said with a smile.
As he leaned in closer and was ready to kiss me, Faith slapped our foreheads, "Can you please? We're in front of a crowd, and too much sweetness is not allowed here," she reprimanded us, and we just laughed.
I am confident that once she has her boyfriend, she will no longer be bitter. I checked my watch and saw that the Ambassadors of Goodwill's showdown would be later.
"Let's ditch? Kyle's ramp isn't till later, and it's kind of dreary," I said to the group.

"I can't go with you," Shan moaned, "and I still have practice today. I'm sorry, babe."
"It's fine," I said with a smile. "We'll meet later, okay?"
He nodded and squeezed his cheek, "Yes babe, we'll meet later. For now, I'm leaving," he said, turning around to Faith, "Hey, you take care of my princess and just text me."
"No problem," Faith answered. "Have fun." Shan even kissed me on the cheek before leaving.
"It's nice," Faith blushed, "and I'm so thrilled that you'll be my niece soon."
"Whatever. Come on, let's go to McDonald's. This is so dull," they all agreed, so we just asked our classmates and my bandmates for permission. We assured them that we will return, but the truth is that we will not.
We were preparing to leave the Theater Room when I recognized Julie waiting for someone from outside. I figured that since it had been one week, her suspension had ended. She is now free to go back to school.
As she saw me, she approached and smiled shyly, "Hi, Ciara. Can I talk to you for a second?"
I looked around at my friends, who were likewise terrified of what was about to happen. "Sure," I said, "you mean in private?" she nodded, so I turned to them and told them to continue ongoing.
"Ciara," Faith's voice trembled, but I merely smiled and assured her that everything would be OK.
I went to her after they departed and asked, "What are we going to talk about?" I was taken aback when she abruptly kneeled in front of me.
"Julie, you don't have to do that," I said as I felt like everyone was gazing at us. "Please, stand up."
"I'm so sorry for everything," she whispered, a tear streaming down her cheek, "I'm so sorry for what I've done to you. To be honest, I just can't accept that you're the one Shan loves — Well, frankly, he truly loves you and not me."
"What do you mean?"
"As her sister, I'm happy that he loved someone like you," she said, holding my hands. "Well, yeah, we did become a couple, but you know that feeling that he's someone else? Well, it's you. That's why I became so harsh towards you, and maybe that's why he was confused about his feelings, so I made a bad decision about Dwight."
"Julie, let's put everything behind us. The past is the past," I remarked.
"I'm very sorry for what I did to you, and the fact that he's my brother merely confirmed that I only felt a rush of blood."
"So," I nodded, "I assumed that Dwight was the man you loved," she bent her head shyly.
"Anyway, did you see Shan? I'm looking forward to seeing him as well."
I gave him a kind smile. It's pointless to be jealous because she's my boyfriend's sister. "He's at practice right now; didn't you meet him out here?"
"I don't think I have," she answered, shaking her head. "Anyway, I was only hoping to talk to him about our dad. He is returning home this day. He looks so thrilled when he found out that Shan already knew about him as his father."
"Oh," I'm at a loss for words here, "does Mrs. Anderson know about this?"
"I believe so," she responded, "but I have to leave now. I was just checking and monitoring my cheerleading team. Bye, Ciara. I hope to see you again someday."
I smiled and said my goodbyes as well. She is a beautiful person, she was engulfed in hatred and jealousy at the time.
