Shan's POV
Our practice was finished, and the coach was just starting to speak when I observed that everyone was staring at their iPhones, and some even came out as if someone was creating a fuss.
I was just listening to our instructor, as soon as I saw Patrick enter the gym and call me out of it.

Our coach appeared to be finished speaking, so I grabbed my stuff and dashed over to him, "What went wrong? Why are people so preoccupied right now?"

"Come on! Hurry up to the second floor! Ciara is being harmed by Julie!"
My eyes widened, so I dashed through the mob, where I saw her tweaking the invincible Ciara, my girlfriend, once more.

I screamed with my eyes closed, "WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! SHIT!"
Everyone remained silent as I yelled. They've never seen me angry or anything like that before. I noticed Julie was taken aback when she heard me. Right now, I'm enraged. How dare she hurt the lady I genuinely love?

"Shan, I was —"

"OH SHUT THE F*CK UP! What did Ciara do to you to cause her so much pain?! TELL ME RIGHT NOW!"

"SHE TOOK YOU AWAY FROM ME!"
I gave her a cold stare and a cynically amused giggle, "Is that true? As far as I'm aware, I love her. I DON'T LOVE YOU AND I LOVE HER SO MUCH! Perhaps you forgot you cheated on me," I added, grinning.
Everyone in the vicinity heard me, and I can hear the gasps and whispers.
Even she was taken aback, and her eyes widened, "What exactly are you on about, baby?! I am -"

"Please put a stop to it. Stop denying it because I am fully aware of everything. I even spoke with him. Isn't that Dwight?"
I shook my head and approached my girlfriend, "Are you okay?" I asked, but she was simply crying.
I allowed her to stand up, and I noticed the Senior High Department's Principal arriving. "You three, in my office! NOW!"
Ciara's POV
Right now, we're being taken to the Senior High Department's Principal's Office. Is it really important for us to be here, especially since we're college students? I'm not sure, and I'm guessing the Principal is unaware that Shan and I are college students.

"I have to call your parents right away," the Principal stated, looking at Julie and turning his gaze towards us, "I know you're college students based on your records, but I'll call them nonetheless because you're involved here."
I nodded and wished them luck if my parents have time. Yes, they have time for me, but this is their working hour. I don't think they'll show up. We shouldn't be entitled to it because we aren't seniors.
We have our Faculty to accompany us if we have any problems. Julie must be their priority.
While someone called on his phone, I overheard the Principal say, "OK, thank you so much," then looked at us, "Your parents Miss Jones and Mister Anderson are coming," he said after making two calls.
I was shocked to hear that, given how busy they were, but perhaps they had changed. Julie continues to stare me down, but I'm unconcerned. I am confident that if we are ever punished, we will be spared because we are college students.
When a lovely and smooth woman appeared, Julie said, "Mommy!" I can tell she's rich, but what about her attitude? It's all good.

"Hey, sweetie, any problems here?" she inquired as she approached the Principal, "What's all the uproar about? Don't you see how they're tormenting my daughter?"
That makes sense. Julie appears to have acquired her mother's attitude.

"Most certainly, discipline these kids," her mother exclaimed angrily, her gaze fixed on us.

"My daughter is good and responsible, so I know she can't afford to cause a ruckus here."

"Excuse me, Mrs. Garcia," I began as I rose from my seat, "but we wouldn't be here to see the Principal if your daughter hadn't created a ruckus, Ma'am."

"Are you trying to say that my daughter is terrible and a war-freak?" she ask, as she scowled directly in front of me and moved closer to us.

"No, ma'am," I argued because we have an examination coming up! I should be studying now and can't afford, "I just think your daughter has an issue with me."
"How dare you --" she was going to say anything when the door burst open, revealing my parents, as well as Shan's worried parents.

"What is this all about?" Mr. John Anderson inquired, confused, "Mister Dawson, I'm sorry, but you can't keep my son and his girlfriend because they are not your problem. They belong to the college department."

"I understand, sir. We just want to know the complete story about why these students are fighting and causing such chaos in the school."
It's a huge mess, and it's visible to me because my uniform is soaked wet. I simply want to get this over with so I can get back to studying!
"Maybe the college students can be released, and you'll have to deal with this senior high student; after all, you have a hold on her," my father suggested, and I couldn't help but smile because it was the first time they'd come to see me and raise such a stir at school.
It's incredibly refreshing, but on the other hand, Julie's mother was angered by what Dad said, as well as the fact that she was still facing me and hadn't seen their faces.

"So, are you trying to say that --" she turned abruptly and froze.
She paused in her speech as if she had seen a ghost. That's strange since her gaze was drawn to Shan's parents, and I could see the look of surprise on their faces.

"Do they know each other?" I whispered to Shan.
He said, "I don't know."

"Is that you, John? Julia?" the woman exclaimed as she approached them, surprised. "I'm delighted we've met again!"
Julia Anderson hugged Kate and said, "Kate! It's you! How are you doing?"
I'm guessing they've known one other for a long time.
The Principal coughed to get our attention, "So, concerning the situation with the three of them --" I was taken aback when Mrs. Garcia abruptly covered the Principal's mouth to shut him off.
"They appear to be right in that regard that my daughter is your concern, and if she needs to be punished, then be it."
Shan and I exchanged perplexed glances. She was once quite wicked and fiercely defended Julie, but the wind now seemed to have changed.

"What?! Mom! How could you! No way!" Julie shouted, her frustration visible in her eyes.
It's a good thing everything is now in order and our name has been cleared. The Principal chose to suspend her for one week, which is wonderful because it allows me to be away from her for a week.
I also hope Julie and I will be fine in that one week because I believe there is something wonderful in her heart as well.
I hugged both of my parents, and I could tell how much they love me, "Ciara, are you okay?" I've never felt before since I've never felt their love.

"I'm alright, Mom," I responded as I brushed away my tears. "I'm just glad both of you are here, despite how busy you are at work."
Dad kissed me on the forehead and cradled my face, saying, "Of course, we don't want our daughter to be hurt. You are our only Princess."
Julie had come over with her mother, which I saw. "I'm sorry, Ciara," Julie simply said, shaking her head. "I didn't realize what I was doing."
I just nodded, and her mother smiled and added, "Hey, I'm sorry too that I disrespected you earlier. I'm just like that, but I'm sorry. Anyway, my name is Kate Collins-Garcia."
"It's okay. I'm sorry too, Mrs. Garcia," I said as I grasped her hand and shook it.
"You know, you and Shan are a thing."
Julia's POV
I can't believe Kate Collins, or should I say, Kate Garcia, is here at Shan's school, where she was my enemy in senior high.
This scene seemed familiar to me since the world appeared to be so small.
Come to think about Kate's daughter has entered my son's life, which is quite similar to John and Kate before. About Ciara, she reminds me of myself. The Girl Next Door, who has been caught in Kate's trap before. It appears like history is repeating itself.

"John, Julia! Wait!" I glanced around as John and I were walking towards the gate. "Can we talk? I mean, if you're not busy right now. I just wanted to catch up with the both of you."

"Sure," I said with a smile and a nod, "we can just go to Dunkin Donuts," I suggested, and she agreed.
We arrived at Dunkin Donuts, which is only a short walk from the school, and got donuts and coffee, of course. Someone else in the store recognizes me, and I simply smile at those who greet me.
Kate's delighted expression was visible as I sat next to John. I've never seen her so joyful in my life. I suppose she's changed because the last time I saw her was at graduation.
Apart from that, what occurred to us previously was not good, but I don't mind.

"I can't believe we met again today," she said as she sipped her coffee. "And we met right here at our own child's school."

"How are you doing, Kate? I haven't seen or heard from you since college," John said.

"It's just," she replied, her face mournful, "that I was so guilty of what I did to you before that I am embarrassed about it and I am truly sorry for everything I have done."

"Kate, that's fine. That was a long time ago; let's forget about it." I took her hand in mine and said, "Now, tell us a story about your life."

"There's nothing especially amusing in my life," Kate giggled, "I completed my studies in Davao in college, and I just returned here this year."

"You haven't been back in a while," John remarked, nodding. "Where is your husband? I suppose you have one because you have a daughter."
Kate's grin faded as she stated, "He's in Davao right now, but he'll be here next week. Also, about our children, I'm very sorry."

"It's okay, it was like us before," John said.

"Oh, and Julia?" Kate remarked abruptly. "I'll just ask you a question. Don't you have any plans to inform Shan about his father, Phillip?"
I stopped and stared at John. Phillip hasn't shown up at our house since the night he came on our graduation day. Even to Shan, but I understand because he said before that he already has a child to look after.
"We don't want any more trouble," I explained, "and as far as I know, Phillip already has a child, and he hasn't shown up since our graduation party."
Why have we only now become aware of this issue? I promised myself when Shan was a baby that I would never introduce Phillip as his father again. We are happy with John, and I can see Shan's progress through the years as a result of his care.

"Didn't you notice that Julie and Shan look alike?" Kate asked after finishing the muffin.
"I noticed that one time when they came to visit," John explained, "but it's probably typical. It's like that when you're soulmates."

"John, that's not a soulmate. He's in love with Ciara," I said, but they were right. Julie and Shan had a striking resemblance.
Kate grinned as she replied, "There's a story behind that."
