Ciara's POV
He parked his car in front of the Senior High building and opened the door for me after getting out.
"Thank you once more," he offered to carry my bag, "you've done enough. it's a little heavy, but I'll handle it."
"All right, I'm sure you'll be fine."
I was ready to say anything when Julie, who was standing behind us, piped up, "Well, well, well. My ex-boyfriend and I broke up because the desperate best friend pulled him away from me."
"Julie, please leave us alone," Shan pleaded. "It doesn't work, as I told you."
"Oh, come on!" Julie exclaimed, laughing. "This woman seduces you, as we all know. If she doesn't f*ck on you, you won't like her!"
"That isn't true! Julie, please. I had no idea he had broken up with you."
"Really?" she remarked cynically, approaching me, "because you're a stealer!"
I collapsed to the floor after she abruptly grabbed my hair. The only thing I knew was that Shan and I were separated, and Julie was being held captive by her troops.
"Julie! That's enough! I can't believe how you treated her!" Shan shouted, and I could feel his deep breaths. "I thought you were an angel. It's a good thing I broke up with you."
I couldn't help but feel uncomfortable, so I turned around and dashed back to school.
As others gazed at us, Shan instantly raced after me.
Because of Julie, my school uniform was already drenched in the dirt.
I can't say I blame her, but didn't she realize she was partly to blame? She cheated, to begin with, but why do I appear to be playing badly now?
Shan grabbed my arm and held me, "Hey, baby, take it easy. Everything will turn out fine. Come on, I've got some spare clothes," he said as he escorted me to their gym, where the locker is kept.
He came in to grab my replacement clothes, so I waited for him. Because of what had happened, I couldn't help but gaze at the people who were talking about us.
I'm sorry, but I love Shan, even though they've just broken up with Julie. I can't say no to him, and I don't want to lose him.
"Here, Babe."
"Thank you," I said as I turned to find Shan holding a white T-shirt and handing it to me.
I entered the dressing room and changed into my shirt. I can tell this is his varsity shirt because his name is still on it.
I sighed and headed outside, where I discovered Shan waiting for me, "Come on," he says.
I was quite silent as we walked to our first class. I knew something like this would happen to me, especially if you were to combat Julie.
I sat next to Shan and Patricia in my customary location. I could see she was worried because of her expression, "Hey, I've heard what's going on. Are you all right?"
I smiled and nodded, "I'm perfectly well. We'll talk about it later."
She nodded, and when I looked at Patrick, all he did was smile.
Time flies fast and the two subjects for today have come to an end. It indicates that it is time for lunch.
"Can you tell me where we're going to eat?" Patricia asked, and I simply shrugged. It's almost as if I don't want to eat here at school yet, and I'm probably the source of the problem once more.
"Since we don't have a Purposive Communication class, would you like to relax at our place?" Shan nodded as Patrick recommended.
"Sure, it'll take a while, plus your house is close by."
"All right," Patrick remarked as he grabbed his bag, "so let's leave."
We went directly to the parking lot, and they rode along in Shan's car with us.
When we arrived at their home, we discovered that their family was at home too. We stayed in their mini-house, which is on the roof and has a lot of fresh air.
"So, what happened?" Patrick questioned.
"We just heard Julie attacked you out of nowhere," Patricia continued.
"It's partly my fault since I'm falling for her, which is the fact that it's Ciara," Shan groaned and shook his head.
"You know, I was expecting this situation to happen just because they're separated," I said.
"As I have stated, I'm always here for you," Patricia murmured as she took my hands in hers. "Also for you, Shan. I'm happy for the both of you."
"I'm in the same boat. I know you're meant to be together, and I'm not trying to stop you," Patrick remarked.
I'm overjoyed to know that I have true friends that are always willing to help.
I consider myself fortunate to have them because such a nice friend is hard to come by. It makes no difference if you have a large or small number of friends.
What counts is that they are genuine in their approach to you.
"I'm sorry if they can't accept Ciara and me," Shan caressed my hand and continued, "but I genuinely love this woman."
I, too, am overjoyed to have a Shan Ralph Avery-Anderson in my life.
We ate lunch, but we stayed here until it was time to return to school since we had another Arts Appreciation class until six o'clock in the evening.
Shan suggested that after we finished our classes, we go see Uncle Derek and tell him about us because he didn't get the chance before they departed last night.
We climbed into his car and drive to the restaurant. It's a good thing he's here, as well as Shan's family.
Shan was even shocked when he spotted his family, exclaiming, "Wow, you're here too, Dad!"
"Without a doubt. So, how about you? Are you planning to go on a date?"
"Of course, Dad!" Shan exclaimed proudly as Uncle emerged from the kitchen and overheard the conversation.
"Hey, who's on a date?"
"Good evening, Uncle! Hello Aunt Giselle!" I said as I kissed them on the cheeks.
"It's great to see you and my favorite lovers, John and Julia, are still around."
"Derek, these two will be your second favorite lovers, respectively." Mrs. Anderson made a joke, and they all chuckled, but he was taken aback.
"What exactly is it? Are you two dating?"
"Yeah. You directly went home shortly after we arrived last night, so you haven't heard what we just said!" Shan kissed me on the cheeks too.
"Last night, I just thought something was fishy with you! I'm happy for you!" Aunt Giselle shrieked and embraced us both.
"It's so sweet!" Faith exclaimed, "I hope someday I'll have a boyfriend like Shan, too!"
"Is it good with your parents? They don't really —"
"Yeah. I'm glad, too, since I'm gradually noticing that they have time for me, and our connection is going well."
I noticed that he had a smile on his face, "That's fantastic news. Ok, sit down and I'll bring you something to eat."
We sat and shared at their table. I couldn't be happier. I'm sorry for the haters, but there's nothing I can do about it.

Everything between me and Shan went perfectly in the past weeks, but I'm having a terrible time dealing with Julie.
Aside from that, everything went well. While there are some students or individuals who dislike Shan and me, I am delighted that there are many who support us.
I admit that things haven't been easy for us, but he continues to show me that he cares about me. I am comfortable and delighted with my situation.
Shan, Patricia, and Patrick are now in the library and Patrick admitted to being drawn to me when still in Davao City, but his homosexuality was more prominent, and as far as I knew, he even crushed Shan's friend and our classmate before, Eric
In only a few weeks, the school's Foundation Day will take place. Shan is in basketball, as usual, while Patrick is fighting for the Accountancy Program Volleyball Team. Of course, I was merely a pianist in the Band.
Patricia is a strong supporter of our cause. She hasn't joined any groups or activities because I know darts are her passion, but it isn't offered here.
"So, I'm supposed to subtract it?" Patricia asked of her twin studying for our Conceptual Framework lesson.
Before we celebrate Foundation Day, we'll make sure to focus on our final examinations, which will take place this week, so we don't have to worry about them while we're having fun.
I took a deep breath before reading my Management Science notes for our exam from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. I've looked into it a few times, but I want to make sure.
"Do we have an examination at six o'clock? I still have volleyball practice," Patrick said, looking at his watch.
"Coach is exacting, too," Shan smiled. After all, we had so little time to practice sports because our examinations, academics, and sports schedules are so stressful. "So, how about you, babe? Do you have a practice?"
"Yeah. We're going to practice later, babe," I stated. We practice in the morning and afternoon since the second-year seniors in the band have their morning classes and prefer to practice in the afternoon from two to four p.m.
"Alright, babe. The coach calls us to the gym court at 10 a.m. today to warm up and practice."
"Same with me at the mini-court in the Senior High building," Patrick stated as he took his bag, "Let's go together."
Shan kissed me on the forehead and nodded, "We'll take the lead. Let's meet later around the lunch break," they exited the library after that.
Patricia and I were continuing our studying when I noticed Julie approaching Shan and talking with him. I was simply intrigued, but not jealous, because I could see my boyfriend avoiding her.
"Oh, my goodness. If only my eyes could kill me, Julie would have been dead," I stated. Julie is still not stopping us and is moving in the direction where Patricia and I are sitting.
"What do you need, Julie?" I asked as she approached, harshly. I don't have time to play around right now because I'm too busy.
She just shrugged and gave a silly smile, "Nothing. I'm just checking in on you, b*tch."
"All right," I murmured as I returned to my book, "if you don't need anything, you can leave."
"What if I don't want to?" she even grabbed the book I was reading, which startled me. THE NERVE!
Isn't she embarrassed that she's currently at the library? I glanced at Patty and motioned for us to leave, "Pat, please's go. Today has been a complete disaster for me."
Patricia quickly gathered her items and exited the location. Since the third-floor library was only for college students, Patty and I decided to relocate. On the second floor, there is a mix of college and senior high students in the library.
As we ascended the stairwell, Patricia murmured, "Now she can't annoy us anymore."
That woman put my patience to the utmost. Let's see what happens if they discover her secret.
As soon as I opened the door, I noticed Faith was also inside, alone and studying, so we didn't hesitate to approach her and say, "Hi Faith!"
When she noticed us, she smiled and gazed at us, "Hello there! Where are Shan and your twin, Patrick?"
"They have their Basketball and Volleyball practice," I explained as I gathered my belongings and sat down next to her.
"Oh alright," she only said in turn since she was so preoccupied with studying that we studied until the Angelus prayer sounded at noon.
"It's finally lunch break," Faith said as she stuffed her belongings into her bag. "Can I simply eat with you guys?"
"Yes, of course. Shan and Patrick will be with us soon," I added, and we leave the library. Julie was outside with her thugs, who were staring at me.
Faith muttered, "Look at how she glares at you, girl," and I just chuckled and disregarded the insecure woman's sharp looks.
We immediately walked to the cafeteria and waited for Shan. They were on their way when he texted. We were just talking in the yard when someone kissed my cheek and said, "Babe, I miss you!"
"I miss you more," I replied, pinching his face. "Faith will be eating with us today," I added.
"Do you happen to be Faith?" Patrick asked, his hands out, "By the way, my name is Patrick. Finally, we had a face-to-face meeting."
Faith took his handshake and greeted him, "My name is Faith Aquino, and I'm a nursing student by the way," she remarked to us at the same moment. "I'll just place my food orders."
"It's fine, Shan and I can handle it," we said, listing our orders, and they left to purchase our purchases as well. They quickly arrived with our orders and began to eat.
We enjoyed a lot of laughs while dining, especially Faith, who is a natural comedian who loves to have a good time. It's simply a case involving the twins and him in excessive talking and talkativeness.
