(Scarlett)
The bell rang, signalling the end of second period. I gathered up my things, quickly chucking them into my bag before heading out the door.
Asher, who had been leaning ageist the lockers outside, quickly approached. “Hey, Scarlett,” He grinned, pulling me into a hug. I hug him back before quickly pulling away. Asher falls into step beside me as we stroll toward the common room. “How was class?” He asked, trying to make conversation. I realised I had been staring off into space and quickly smiled back at him.

“Oh, boring, as usual, Barbie apologised and asked if we could 'start fresh,'” I remark, turning back to avoid stumbling face first in the crowded corridor.
“What...Why?” he asked, clearly as confused as I felt.
“I have no idea. Not after the shit that she pulled,” I shake my head, not quite believing it. Asher's hand curled around my wrist as we pushed our way through the crowd of students. Guilt seeped into my blood as I recalled the events of this morning and the kiss I had shared with Asher last night. I was a two-timing bitch.
“How is Storm anyway? I haven't seen you two together since Monday.” Asher questioned.
“With Barbie back at school, it's messed Storm up quite a bit. Loki managed to convince Karen to keep her home this week,” I sigh. There was no way she could keep going like this, sooner or later, something needed to be settled, or Storm would be expelled for absence.
“I'm sorry to hear that; if you need me to do something to help the situation, let me know,” Asher offered. We manage to shove our way past the other students up to the stairs and toward the common room.

“That's really sweet, Asher, but honestly, I have no idea what we can do at the moment. It’s a shit situation,” I remark sadly. He nods.
We enter the common room, and Asher follows me over to my table to no one's surprise. “You don't have to sit with me, you know; I was just going to call Storm anyway,” I reassure, a smile tugging at my lips.
“That's okay; you can still call her. I want to ask you something anyway,” Asher admits, rubbing the back of his neck nervously. I looked him over, a curious glint in my eye.
“What did you want to say to me?” I ask.

“Well, I'm sure you already know, Adam being the Quarterback and all, but I was wondering if you would come and watch me play. For good luck or whatever.” Asher inquired hesitantly. I couldn't help but smile; it was like Storm said, Asher was a cute puppy you just couldn't say no to. He was so sweet and came across as nerdy even. Despite his position on the football team and friendship group, he was just a regular guy.
“What position do you play?” I inquire—his smiles widened.
“Wide receiver,” I must have looked confused because he quickly adds, “I'm one of the guys that runs to get open for passes, to make Loki and Adam's life easier,” he explains.
“Sounds important.”
“You have never watched a game have you?” Asher teases, leaning forward on the table. It was true. Despite Adam being the captain of the football team, I had never seen a single one of his matches. Not that it seemed to bother him despite our lack of parents, Alisa had been his little cheerleader since he started playing.
“Is that such a crime?” I laugh. “I'm not really a sport's kind of girl,” I admit.
“Yet you help coach the self-defence classes?” Asher debates. How did he know about that? Most people had no idea that the club even existed. It was kept that way to support the bullied and victims are club supported.
“Wait, you know about that?” I gasp.
“Yeah, Coach is always begging me to help out. But I figured I wasn't needed with you running the show,” Asher mused. I shake my head giggling.
“It would actually be pretty helpful; we always need a dummy to work on,” I tease, considering his weight and muscle mass. Asher grins from ear to ear.
“Does that mean you want me to come? So you could knock me down a few pegs?” Asher considered. Not even pretending that I wouldn't kick his arse. I liked that.
“Maybe. It would be fun going head to head with you. A girl needs a challenge every now and then,” I tease.
“So let’s make a deal. I'll come to your defence training if you come to watch me play,” Asher suggests. I smile, pretending to consider his deal. Even though I had already decided in my head. Asher watches me, his amber eyes amused.
“Okay, but I'm not wearing your number,” I argue.
“Deal. I'm number 19, by the way,” Asher beams. “Your wear it one day, baby,” He teases, winking at me.
“In your dreams,” I tantalise. Then, reaching into my bag to take out my phone.
“You asked her yet?” Shawn appeared, taking a seat next to Asher.
“Dude, you need to get yourself a girl and stop messing in my business,” Asher retorts.
“Hey, no girl I have with been with is as juice as you two love birds,” Shawn jokes “Scarlett you better not give in to this basted.” Shawn teases, earning him an elbow in the stomach from Asher. I shake my head at them, loading up Storms number and pressing dial, before stepping away from my table, to find some quiet.
I was walking toward tutor group phone in hand when another one of Loki's flirtatious messages popped up on my phone. I quickly swipe up, blushing. I had been avoiding him all morning. Not even read one of his messages; I knew what kind of filth he would be sending me was not school appropriate. I needed to prevent a repeat of our dirty little encounter this morning.
But every time a new messaged popped up, I was right back there with him; butterflies fluttered in my stomach. I had hoped by ignoring him; he would get bored and leave me alone. But of course, no luck, so much for wishful thinking. It was like no matter how much I rejected him, avoided him, he kept sneaking his way back in. He was a resilient son of a bitch.
I had been so busy staring at my phone that I hadn't been paying enough attention to what was in front of me. Suddenly I collided with a warm, hard chest. Shit. I pull back, trying to regain my balance. But before I could, solid thick arms wrapped around my wrists, and I was dragged into an empty classroom. I squeal, trying to fight ageist the tall, dark figure. The door closes. My attacker pinning me between him and the door. I'm met with amused black eyes. Loki.
“Fuck sack! You almost gave me a heart attack,” I protest, trying to pull my hands out of his grip. No luck; it was like fighting ageist a brick wall. He smirked, watching me struggle.
“You were ignoring me,” Loki shrugged as if that was a perfectly good reason for ambushing someone in the middle of school.
“Usually, when someone ignores you, it’s because they are avoiding that person, not because they want to spend more time together,” I snap back, glaring up at him.
“You seemed to enjoy my company just fine this morning,” He teased, a cocky grin framing his lips.
“We are not supposed to be talking! If we are seen together, we are both dead.”
“Since when do you do what you’re told?” Loki challenges. His body was too close, his scent overpowering my scenes. It was becoming hard to concentrate, to stay mad at him when all I wanted was to be touched.
“I'm trying something new,” I lie, subtly pressing my thighs together. Loki's eyes dart down to my legs, an amused smile tugging at the sides of his lips. Shit, I hadn't been as subtle as I had hoped. His dark eyes meet mine again, darker than they had been before. “We are going to be late to class; need I remind you I'm still on probation.” my voice lacking any kind of authority.
“We've still got time,” Loki purred, his lips closing in on my ear. “Let’s have a little fun first,” He whispers, his voice deep and husky. My eyes close, all fight leaving my body in one sweet breath. “It can be our dirty little secret,” He teases.
Loki pressed his knee between my legs, spreading them open for him. I gasp, forgetting the world around me as his lips press down ageist mine. His kiss was soft, slow. When I needed hard and rough, he was teasing me. I kissed him back, harder pouring all my hunger and desire into it, begging him to give me more. But he didn't—cruel bastard. I slip my hands out from his hold, snacking them under his tee, pulling him closer by the hoops of his jeans, demanding more. Loki smirked ageist my lips. The bell rings.
Suddenly Loki pulls away from me, causing me to whimper with the loss of contact. He gives me a pantie dropping smile, his eyes roaming over my body. “Come on, princess,” He smirks, offering me his hand. “Wouldn't want to make you late.”
“Satan,” I mumble under my breath. Storming out of the room without a second glance. His laughter echoing after me. I hurried my pace as I rushed down the hallway. Loki was a fucking Bastard. He was playing with me like I was one of his whores. I didn't like it. I hated how much control he had over my body, how much I wanted him.
When I got to tutor, I made sure to sit beside Asher closer than was entirely necessary. If Loki could play games with me, then so could I. fuck him.
“Hey, gorgeous,” Asher grinned at me, his arm curling around my shoulder. I pressed myself into his warmth. Needing it after the ice water, Loki had chucked over my very soul. “You okay?” Asher asked, peering down at me.
“Yeah, I'm just cold,” I lied. I heard Loki walk in and slam into the seat behind us. I didn't look back. However, I could feel his black eyes piercing holes into my head. He was pissed. Good, that made two of us.
“You want my jacket?” Asher offered, moving to remove it. I tug him back, entwining my fingers with his other hand.
“No, thank you. You’re enough,” I whispered. Smiling shyly up at him. He grinned at me, placing a soft kiss on my hair. God, I was such an arsehole to be playing with Asher's feeling like this. I couldn't keep doing this to him; it wasn't fair no matter what he said. But a huge part of me didn't want to lose him. I know that made me selfish, but hell after everything I had been through over the years. Adam was right; I deserved someone like Asher that would be there for me no matter what. So I stayed snuggled into his chest for the entire time. I felt my phone buzzing but ignored It. Loki could go screw himself.
