ASHLY POV
I smile as far as we landed on our plane.
They were already preparing the ingredients when we arrived here yesterday. I rested a bit and went down afterwards. When I found out that they were going to the market, I went with them to take a walk. We'll be back on Wednesday so it's okay. If I have time in the future I will surely be back here just to travel.

They celebrate the birthday party simply. Just their relatives. I have already met his father and his eldest brother, Might. They were all nice to me. Might is quite the opposite of Kaiden's temperament, he is handsome and quiet. Kaiden for me is such annoying person. Why isn't he like his dad? His dad is approachable and easy going person. He always tells a jokes and always put a smile on his lips. I'm sure, by the time Kaiden and Maeve get married in the near future, she won't have anything to complain about her in-laws. They are great.
Kaiden's mom is going to be fifty-six this year. She was very happy with my gift sunglasses and l also bring flower birthday cake for her. We already finished dinner earlier and had a drink in the living room.
"I will surely use this sunglasses to match with my outfits in my closet." His mom said and put the paper bag containing the gift on the table.
"You have to or else I would be sad. HAHAHA!"
Kaiden's Dad raised his glass in the air. "Come, Come, Cheers."
Like the others, I also reached for my glass and at the same time our glasses made a little noise in the air. I finished it with one big gulp.

"So tell me about my sister-in-law." Might said while looking at me.
I don’t know if it’s me he’s asking or Kaiden but I just answer him "She's Maeve, my bestfriend."
Might smirked "Ohhh, then, Kaiden, tell me more about her."
I don't know if its because of this strong liquor or Im just being deceive by my eyes but I think I saw Kaiden's jaw tighten as he look at him angrily.

I put some liquor on my glass and gulp it "Woo!" I quickly change the subject when Kaiden was about to say a word "This liquor is really great. Tito, can I take one bottle of this one when we get home?" I said a bit tipsy.
"Sure. Let me tell you, this liquor is really strong. Your taste is not bad huh..." Then he had a lot more to say.
"Are you ashly, already have a boyfriend?"
I smiled "No Im single."
"What a waste. If Kaiden's cousin was the same age as you, I would have introduce him to you. Look, he has been glancing at you for a while." Kaiden's Mom replied while pointing at the man on the terrace looking at our side or should I say, looking at me. When our eyesight was met, he immediately averted his gaze.
I smally laugh 'Shy man'.
I can say that this young man is about 17 years old and below. Thankfully we are not at the same age. Ripped Jeans, Stuck-In Polo, The three buttons of his polo shirt are open, Well styled hair, at first glance, I could say he looks like a cheater. Tsk tsk. Judgmental if judgmental. The types of guys like him have a big chance of being a cheater.
And those cheaters, when asked for another chance, should not be given any more. I believe in a saying ‘Once a cheater always a cheater!'
I reached for my glass and took a sip.
"We are really excited to meet Maeve, I hope she's as beautiful as you." His mom said
"Maeve is better more beautiful than me, smart, kind, does a good job. She already has everything. I can say that she's perfect."
"You're really proud of your friend. You look like a very kind friend hija."
"I believe so. I know, Kaiden knew it very well."
Then after a few bottles. They decided to play games as their bonding moments. Kaiden's dad even invited me, I didn't want to join because it's inappropriate, I'm not even part of their family and it was their bonding moment. But his dad insisted so I joined too. Their bonding moments are full of laughter and teasing. You can see they are really happy. Even Kaiden I almost only now saw him laugh. After a series of defeats, I gave up.
I said goodbye to go out just to freshen up because I felt dizzy from what we had been drinking earlier. I am very jealous of Kaiden. He has the family I hope but I will never have. His parents are very kind. I envy the others out there who have a complete family. Parents support everything they want to do. Mother's care, Father's Time. I know I would never have those. I didn't realize that my tears were already dripping.
"What are doing here?" Kaiden's voice came from behind me.
I immediately wiped my wet cheek. "Ventilating"
He came over and faced me but I didn’t meet his gaze, I look away. "You shouldn't have bothered to come with me, there you go, you're bored."
I look at him "No. Im not bored. I was relieved. I like your family. Maeve is lucky when you get married, she won't have a hard time with your family. They are all kind."
"Why are you sad in the tone of your voice and in your appearance?"
"No Im not!" I shouted saying. I cleared my throat. "I m-mean, Im not sad. Why would I be sad?"
"I don't know."
"Tss, change topic!" I thought for a moment what I should topic then something enters my mind "Kaiden. Who really are you?"
His forehead furrowed "What a weird question is that. Of course Im Kaiden."
"Tss. Jerk! What Im talking about is who really are you? Maeve said that you're a gentleman but I can't see it.
"That's really true."
One of my eyebrows rose "Oh really?"
"Yes. But that’s only exclusive to people who look human and don’t look weird like you. So don't expect me to be a gentleman to you."
I just make a face to him.
He said "Get Inside. Its getting cold here."
"You go first, I'll follow. I'm not cold yet."
He just nodded and I saw Kaiden enter the house.
I took a deep breath. Everyone was drunk when I entered the house. They were already lying in the living room but the others were still singing in the karaoke and looked drunk. I slowly went up to my room. I took a half bath, brushed my teeth, and got dressed for bed. I only brought a few clothes but it was enough for three days so I didn't take them out of my suitcase.
WHEN I WOKE UP Im already suffering from headache.
"Shit." I murmured and cupped my head.
I reach for my phone on the side table and look at the time. Its already 12 noon. I got up and went to the bathroom to wash my face and brush my teeth. I took a clean cloth and wipe it on my face. Later on, I went to the door when someone knocked and opened it.
"You're awake?"
I rolled my eyes "No. Im sleep walking."
He look at me from head to toe then his gaze stopped on my chest.
My gaze went down to my chest, my eyes widen as I crossed my arms to cover it. I forgot I was only wearing a pink sleeveless shirt.
"Pervert!"
He laugh "I didn’t accidentally see, I just saw."
My eyebrows met "Scumbag! What do you need!?"
"My mom asked me to wake you up for lunch. But I did not expect..." He looked up and down again "this."
I tilt over and tried to cover myself with my own hand. Seeing me acted like that he ridiculously gave a small laugh.
"Fvck you! I'll come down later!! Go away." I said and slammed the door shut. I even heard him laugh before he left.
I covered my face in shame! "Ashly, you embarrassing woman!"
I touch my cheeks "Its so hot. Better take a shower." I quickly went to the bathroom to take a shower.
"YOU'RE HERE, Ashly. Come let's eat lunch together." Kaiden's mom greeted me when I entered the dining area.
I'm surprised. "You haven't started eating yet?"
"Your uncle was so drunk last night and was so slow to get up, he just woke up. Right on time, Kaiden said you were awake and getting dressed so we just waited for you."
I looked at Kaiden, the idiot still smiled. When he look at me I just rolled my eyes on him and look at everybody.
"Then let's eat, sorry for making you wait."
Everybody just smiled at me.
"Here, sit here Ashly." Mr. Bautista said while pointing the seat oposite to Kaiden's seat.
I sat down and started eating. I was peacefully eating when Kaiden spoke "By the way, We're going back to Manila this afternoon at 5. Pack your things so we can leave later."
"Wait What? I thought we were coming back tomorrow?"
"I still have to finish my mini model modern house project."
I just frowned.
Nevermind. I will surely be back here next time.
