[Carmen]When I woke up the next morning, it was like there was a heavy weight on my heart. I let Rock distract me all night, but I was still distraught about what happened with my family. Even though I didn’t like my parents much at the moment, I loved them. They were my parents. The first people I loved and the last people I thought would betray me. Mike was obviously less shocked, but he seemed pretty pissed off that dad hit me. None of the ranked members seemed to think it was called for. It made me feel a little better. Knowing I would have been safe, even if it hadn’t gone my way with Rock. Speaking of Rock, he wasn’t in the bed when I woke up. I felt around for him but came back with nothing. Carefully, I climbed out of bed and went to the closet. I made this trip at least a few times yesterday, so I had it down. Rock had helped me organize my clothes so they were sorted by color and style. I reached into a drawer to get underclothes. I picked out a light summer dress that was a nice texture. He would like how it felt as much as I did. When I was dressed, I went to get my cane and found my way to the bathroom to use it, brush my teeth, and brush my hair. I put everything back where Rock had put it. The counter was pretty high, but I could still reach it all. Last night, he told me about how he was going to remodel a little over the next year to make the house fit me better. I told him to leave the tub. I loved how huge it was. He and I could fit in it together really easily. I headed out into the rest of the house, looking for Rock. I didn’t know what time it was, but that didn’t bother me. As soon as I left the pack lands, my work with the pack ceased. I was unemployed. It sucked but I would get through it. Maybe there was something I could do in the fae lands. “Rock?” I called out when I heard his breathing. “Good afternoon, little wolf. I let you sleep in a little because you had a long weekend and a hard day yesterday.” “Afternoon? I’ve never slept that late.” I giggled. “I’m sorry if you were lonely.” “You were here, if I missed you, I knew exactly where to find you,” he answered. I blushed. It was good that he was fine with me sleeping so much. I must have needed it if I slept that long. “I was reading through that packet Alpha Trent gave me. I didn’t know all this stuff about werewolves. It’s helpful. How are you feeling? Is your heat happening?” Rock asked. “No, I don’t think so. I feel like I normally do. Maybe your mark didn’t start my fertility cycle because it’s different from when werewolves mark. That’s fine, though. It gives me time to get used to everything. I had my last heat the week before we met.” I told him with my blush deepening even more. “Are you embarrassed by talking about your heat with your mate?” He chuckled. “Stop.” I hissed. Rock pushed my cane aside and wrapped his arms around my shoulders. I leaned my cheek against his chest and breathed him in. I wanted nothing more than to stay in this little world that was just him and me. “Are you hungry?” I nodded. “Have a seat here and I’ll heat something up for you. No arguments. I get to take care of you for a while. I planned to do that for my mate for the first week, no matter who she was. Let me spoil you. Sleep in, eat, take long baths, and let me make love to you.” Rock purred. “Are you sure? It seems like I’m taking advantage of you.” “You’re my mate and I say it’s okay. Now, go sit down and I’ll come back with food,” he insisted. He let me go and I found my way to the couch, and then had a seat. Rock ‘hmphed’ and then left the room. If this made him happy, I wouldn’t stop him. While I waited, I thought about what I was going to do with all my time after Rock went back to work. It wouldn’t take me too long to figure out how to get around the house, and I could do some housework, but not all of it. If his kitchen counters and stove were as tall as the bathroom counters, I couldn’t really cook. Was I useless now? Just a soft, pretty thing to decorate his house and warm his bed? Would I ever have a use in our relationship? “Pretty heavy thinking,” Rock said from beside me, making me jump. “Did I startle you? I thought werewolves were supposed to be better about stuff like that.” “I was just… thinking…. Plus, I’m not a whole werewolf,” I replied. “Are you a human who turns into a wolf? Who has wolf instincts? Who has goddess granted abilities of all werewolves?” he asked. “Except for heightened eyesight. So much of life is in what a person can see. What am I going to do, Rock? I can’t just let you take care of me all the time. It’s not fair to you.” He was quiet. The silence was heavy. He moved to sit next to me on the couch and I heard him put a dish on the coffee table. “Actually, I wanted to talk to you about that. I hate the office work stuff. There are a lot of programs out there and I can hire an assistant for you. Would you take over that part of my business?” Rock offered. “I can get you a braille keyboard and anything else you need. I have a lot of money and I would rather have someone else do the stuff. I can trust you, you’re my mate.” “Really? I always thought I could do more than the pack would let me do. I just didn’t want to cost them more.” “Great. Once our week off is done, I’ll take you to the office to introduce you to the crew and I’ll start searching for an assistant for you. I can go online and order the things we need. You’ll need to tell me what sorts of things we should be looking for,” he said. I was shocked that Rock was so gung-ho about this. He really wanted me to take over the office work. I would love that so much. It would make his business our business. Leaning over, I put my forehead against his arm. Of course, my brilliant planner of a mate was going to have a plan before I ever realized we needed one. “Thank you, Rock. Everything is going so crazy in my life and I didn’t know what I was going to do. You saved me.” “I’ll always save you. Now sit up so you can eat something. From what I read, werewolves need a lot of food. You haven’t had nearly enough to eat in the last couple of days.” After I sat up, Rock put a bowl in my lap and a fork in my hand. He had bowls and bowls of meat in his refrigerator, he told me. All of them seasoned, some cooked, and every one of them for a planned meal for his mate. For me. I ate the diced chicken with some sort of savory creamy sauce and vegetables. It was so good I finished it in just moments after the first bite. Maybe he should be in charge of cooking for us. I wasn’t nearly as good as he was at cooking, no matter how much I enjoyed it. “You like that?” “It was the best thing I’ve ever tasted. That would be amazing on some pasta or over rice.” “I’ll have to stock up on things like that. I didn’t even think about it when I asked Sean to get me some vegetables for you. I didn’t want to leave you at home alone, in case you woke up. He’s a nice kid,” Rock said. “Sean is friends with Alpha Trent’s little brother, Grayson. Have you met him?” I asked. “No, I haven’t met a lot of people outside of work and the troll community. How about if we have a barbecue this weekend with your friends and Sean’s friends? I’m sure he has a list of people who can come on the fae lands. Then the weekend after next, we’ll have my friends over. It’d be Forrest, Elbio, Jett, and Mica. Mica has a true mate, but the other three aren’t old enough. I’ll tell them they can bring dates if you’re alright with that,” he offered. “That sounds like fun. I’m glad we can be social. Werewolves are pack animals, like humans. We feel a lot more comfortable if we can be social and spend time around others.” We spent the rest of the afternoon chatting about the things I would need. Rock decided he would get me a whole new computer and desk setup in his office. He researched screen readers, compatible programs, scanners, and even braille keyboards. I only had an overlay on my laptop because of how expensive braille keyboards were. He picked one that was over three hundred dollars, including shipping. I nearly fainted, but Rock insisted that it was for work and I was worth the extra expense. It was so different having someone think and talk about my blindness without making it seem like I was a burden or something worse. He talked about all of the things he wanted to do in the house, too. He was having things made with braille print for the shelves in the kitchen and the fridge. He made me laugh when I told him he could just buy a braille label maker for super cheap and I could print the labels for him. This wasn’t nearly as difficult as he seemed to want to make it. For the most part, humans had made a lot of things accessible for the blind. Not everything, but enough that not everything took hundreds of dollars to overcome, like using an overlay instead of a braille keyboard. He still wouldn’t budge on a ten dollar keyboard with a braille overlay on it instead of the expensive board he already ordered. Rock called a couple of his employees and asked them to take delivery of my new desk and chair at the office and have them set up for when we came in on Monday. He didn’t tell them it was for his mate, but he told me it was because he wanted me to be a surprise. Apparently, not all trolls find their true mate on their coming-of-age, or they already know them and the person they suspect is their mate will be sent back first. Usually, they’re right. “How do you know someone is your mate before you’re of age?” I asked. “Well, it’s a feeling when you spend enough time with them. It’s a deeper feeling than friendship and can easily slip into love. If you meet a fae who had a friend that turned into a lover at one time and who they still love, even if they’re not with them, then it means that’s probably their true mate and they’ll be together when one or the other comes of age.” “Did you suspect that I was your true mate?” He chuckled. “The very first person my troll brain focused on when it took over was you. I thought about getting away from my friends, finding and kidnapping you. My troll brain had big plans for what to do to you once I had you, too.” “Oh, really? And is your troll brain happy with everything we’ve done since?” I asked in a teasing tone. “Mmm, it’s never happy when we stop. Otherwise, I’d have to say my troll brain is fairly happy to have you as our mate. What about your wolf? I couldn’t entirely understand what she was trying to tell me when I asked if she was disappointed.”I laughed. “Blanche loves you. She thinks you’re as handsome as I do. And don’t go saying everyone else thinks you’re ugly. They don’t know anything.” Rock kissed me, removing the bowl from my lap and setting it on the table. I melted into his kiss. He moved me around until I was lying under him on the couch and he was holding my hands over my head while grinding his groin between my legs. I moaned. He pulled back from the kiss. “I don’t know what I did to deserve an insane woman like you, but I thank the goddess every day. You’re my own sweet little wolf. You’re the only one who thinks I’m handsome, troll or otherwise.” “Well, they’re stupid, anyway. And their opinion doesn’t matter. Only my opinion matters and I think you’re the most handsome man or troll in the world,” I murmured. “Now, are you going to make love to me or just keep teasing me?” “Hmm. I think teasing you sounds like fun. I’ll make you cry and beg for a while.” “Oh, no, Alpha, please don’t tease me.” “I think that’s exactly what I’m going to do, my sweet little ѕlut. Now, beg for your Alpha’s cоck,” Rock growled. I writhed beneath him, my body on fire with need. I could feel his hard length pressed against me, teasing me with its promise of ecstasy. Moaning and pleading, I begged him to drive into me, to take me hard and fast like the troll he was.Rock laughed wickedly, knowing how badly I wanted him. He sped up his movements, rubbing himself against my dampening panties as he continued to hold my hands above my head in a firm grip. I cried out as the pleasure built, my body arching up in need. Rock smirked at me, knowing I was moments away from оrgasm. He stopped moving just moments before I came. “NO! Alpha, please. I need it. I need you, my big, strong Alpha.” I begged. But he just laughed, rubbing himself against me once more. “I’m not done teasing my little wolf yet,” he growled.Frantic with need, I struggled against him. But Rock was too strong and pinned me down easily, smirking as I moaned in frustration. He teased me relentlessly, driving me wild with desire as he continued to rub himself against my swollen core.“Please, please, please, Alpha.” I moaned in a mantra. Tears started forming in the corners of my eyes. I really was going to start crying if he kept pulling away before I could сum. He just laughed, enjoying the torture he was inflicting on me. When a tear did roll down my face, he leaned in and licked it off. I’d never experienced something so demeaning and so sensual at the same time. I whimpered, feeling myself getting wetter and wetter as he tormented me. “Please, Alpha. I need you. I need to feel you inside me.”“All right, my sweet little wolf. I’ll give you what you need,” he growled as he finally ripped my panties off and pushed into me.I didn’t know when he had gotten his pants down, but I knew he was wearing them earlier. I moaned in relief as he pushed himself deep inside of me. Rock pounded into me hard, our bodies slapping together in a primal rhythm. I sсreamed out in ecstasy as he took me harder and harder, the pleasure washing over me in waves. He reached down and rubbed my clit as he continued to drive into me, pushing me over the edge into оrgasm. I cried out, my body shaking and convulsing around him as I came harder than I ever had before. And still, he didn’t stop. He continued to thrust into me, riding out my оrgasm and sending me higher and higher until I thought I might explode from the pleasure. Finally, as my eyes rolled back in my head and my body threatened to pass out from sheer bliss, he let out a roar and came inside of me.I was his forever, completely captivated by his potent, animalistic masculinity. He made me beg for him again and again, always giving me the release that I craved so desperately.
